The depressing fact is, after about 6-7 weeks of the TW being open, that both our starting 11 and squad as a whole are weaker than when last season ended. I see no evidence whatsoever that suggests we have a transfer strategy that will bring in the level of player required to improve this Celtic side and make us more competitive in Europe.

I hope we are not waiting again to see if we get Champions League money, before backing Brendan in the transfer market again.

    Big risk if we are.

Hope not because then we've got about a week after the qualifier to do business, and I reckon when that is the case we are in a very weak position as selling clubs will realise what our strategy is/was and be in a position to ask for and get over inflated transfer fees

Vast majority of managers we go for play a very similar style and players are likely to fit in such systems. Last time we had a manager who played a different style was Lennon in his 1st spell which was over 10 years ago.

It's a ridiculous situation to give a manager a 3 year deal, then not back him the final season and essentially just tread water until the following manger comes in.

Again a lot of these issues could be sorted with a proper director of football and a recruitment team that is fit for porpuse.

    Club is so unprogressive.
