    Correct.

We will just sit on the pile of cash and hope we have enough to qualify for the CL. What could go wrong....

The timing of our signings this time have led to people feeling a bit underwhelmed so far. We knew Tierney was happening in January then as soon as the window opened we signed a few cheap punts. I feel like if we announced a few cheap punts in January to join this summer, and then just announced Tierney last week we would all be absolutely buzzing!

Everyone on this forum has been * about how * Kühn has been for months and that we should punt.

As soon as we punt they start moaning about replacements.

    Cesspit.

It's weird that a team can buy one of our first team players in Kuhn but we struggle to buy players that walk into our starting XI.

Then January is a hard month to do any business whatsoever.

We just can't catch a break.

We aren't as effective at signings as we are at departures that's for sure.

Hopefully a few more ins & outs before the team head to Portugal. Ideally we'll have most of the work done before the como cup.

And we've got two months till the end of the window, I think we'll be fine. Signings can come out of nowhere.

We always sell one player, I'd rather it was Kuhn than Hatate or CCV

We messed up in January, so they announced Tierney to make fans feel better about that window, but it stole excitement from this window.

If we announced KT on July 1st as Taylor was leaving we'd all be buzzing.

Still loads of work needing to be done in this window.

I’m not over the moon about the centre back from Japan if I’m honest but we can only wait and see what happens with him.

There is still time in the window but we have been shocking previously and I think the we are not guaranteed champions league football excuse play book will be carted out, same with clubs don’t want to sell at this moment in time etc.

One of our issues it clubs now know we have had good money for one of our players and will probably hold us at ransom’s for their players.

we are fantastic regarding selling players quickly just hope we will be the same with some needed first team quality that we really need to bring in.

All good and well saying we’ve got 4 in early doors but overall the squad is still bloated with players who aren’t good enough and we are very light on quality in key areas of the pitch.

If the Inamura and Yamada links prevail, which seem likely at the moment, then it adds to the quantity over quality issue in the squad.

I’m sure it’s easier said than done but we should be prioritising getting first team players in, before selling the likes of Kuhn and bringing in squad players

We’re already about £20m in profit this window, with a few more outgoings still to come.

Time to spend some proper money Celtic.

3 CBs going to leave so surely get 2 in.

Inamura probably counting as one mind so the other needs to be of good quality.

I think compared to most years, we look pretty organised so far this window. So I do think the club are getting business done early. Still plenty of time left in the window and we have now banked our big sale to free up the purse strings. So hard to fault things to date.

My main concern is that there just isnt the ambition to actually strengthen in areas like CB and CM because they see these areas as already sorted. So unless we sell a first team player we wont look to buy one. And will instead spend the money on some prospect types to come in and develop.

I dont think we are going to hit those 7M/8M/9M level signings unless they are going into the first team. Right now I possibly only see the club spending that kind of fee of a wide player.

It's not new, though. Remember when Southampton bought Wanyama, then Forster, then Virgil in consecutive summers? That was over a decade ago. It hasn't stopped since, Christie to Bournemouth, Ajer to Brentford, Jota to Al-Ittihad, O'Riley to Brentford, Edouard to Crystal Palace...etc, etc, etc. Kühn to Como would be par for the course these days.

It's tiresome, but it's where we are for now.

I'm not counting KT to Arsenal, as we've always lost players to big clubs like that.

If fat boab is on the ball as his track record does suggest he is we can rule Balikshwala and Sondre firmly out the equation
