I only like him centrally, but prefer Johansen there. So he had to be left out of mine, personally.

Don't like him in the wider area.

Should never play out wide, far too slow and cumbersome.

That's my thinking, as well. He's our most influential attacker by a distance, like him or not. I don't think we should be relying on him so much. Hopefully Rogic or someone can step up.

No, are you or is anyone else on here? We've no clue what Boyata will be like. I know Charlie has all the attributes to play there, hence my selection.

That's far too many players mate. Only allowed 11 on the field.

No, I'm not. But I haven't made a statement saying that Mulgrew is better. Without actually knowing how good boyata is.

I'm hoping this isn't how it looks like.

    Nor me,

I think Martin has managed to pick probably one of the most boring sides we could possibly have there. :smiley-laughing002:

    Me too. :smiley-laughing002:

    Who's missing, though?

Hard to really envisage us going with the 2 up front; probably more likely to see Armstrong and GMS in the wide areas, but that hardly spices it up much. Armstrong is probably better through the middle. I'd have Forrest on the right, but he's about as likely to finish a game as Boerrigter is at this rate.

GMS has a bit of skill about him...would you expect him to play in the big games?

This season is going to be an odd one as Ronny is trying to trim the squad down, but we could still do with a couple of quality players coming in, IMO

Johansen needs to be playing as an attacking mid not part of a flat 3 or 2. Although I do agree armstrong is better through the middle he hasn't done more than johansenn to move him out yet.

GMS will be our best player next year.

I think it shows how lacking we are on the wings that people are putting Armstrong out wide left. Ideally him and Johansen would fight for that central position but who are the alternatives ? Forrest ? Boerrigter !?

Forrest or commons, even though I hate commons out on the wing.
