Hoops well on the front foot here. Menglu is ripping them down the wing so far.

Menglu and Gallagher out wide and Jacynta pulling the strings through the middle proving dangerous.

Glasgow City playing more long ball so far but probably had the best chance so far from a set piece.

    0-0 HT

Celtic dominating and much more on the front but not really making a tonne of really clear cut opportunities so far.

After last weekend, the reality is the Ghirls need to win all their post-Split games, in addition to someone doing them a massive favour by defeating Glasgow City. Really can't see it happening tbh.

The Scottish Women’s Premier League post-split fixtures have today been announced, with Celtic FC Women kicking it off with an away visit to take on Glasgow rivals Rangers.

Following Sunday’s 2-0 win over Hibernian, Fran Alonso’s side have now played each SWPL team twice this season, and the league will be split in half with the Hoops taking on the other five of the top six sides twice, home and away.

First up for the Celts is a trip to take on Rangers on Monday March 27 (KO 19:30), and the squad will be looking to maintain their unbeaten league record against the Ibrox side this season.

That is quickly followed by a home fixture against Partick Thistle the following Sunday, before another top-of-the-table clash with Glasgow City on April 16.

The Hoops finish off the first half of their fixtures with games against the capital sides, with a visit to take Hearts on April 19, before facing Hibs at home on April 30.

Another Glasgow derby awaits Celtic to kick off the second half of the split fixtures, taking on Rangers at home on May 3.

Back-to-back home fixtures are followed by the short trip to Partick Thistle, which leads into Celtic’s final clash against the top three teams, and the penultimate home game of the season versus Glasgow City on Thursday May 11 (KO 19:30).

Celtic’s final away trip of the season will be against Hibernian on May 14, before returning home to round off the 2022/23 campaign with a fixture against Hearts the following week.

Full fixture and ticket details will be announced in the coming weeks.
