At least we didn't get hammered like they thought we would. I'm happy with that.

Yeah I would say so. The pundits said 7000 Celtic fans and around 600 Chelsea fans. The bhoys definitely made some noise.

Big Beever-Jones was absolutely dirty in the second half and got exactly what she deserved.

The Ghirls did themselves proud last night, put in a big shift against a Chelsea side that were admittedly at not quite full strength, but that goes to show the level. Would've been great to get a few more fans attending, but the fans that did show made themselves heard and really got behind the team.

My contention about the size of CP being a bit of a struggle as the teasm are not used to playing on such a big/wide pitch still stands, as the fitness does get put to the test and they're just not used to that, so when they have played there it has been a bit of a struggle. Will be curious to learn the dimensions of the pitch that is being prepared for them at Barrowfield, where they'll move when it's ready.

Secondly, obviously of the effect of putting in such a big effort is that they play against Sevco this weekend. How much will last night have taken out out of the tank, and remember they went 120min + penalities to get past City in the League Cup just 3-4 days ago.

And finally, LAC continues to seriusly impress. Since getting over that injury that kept her out for over a year, she has well and truly proven she is past that. Has been probably the best Celtic have had this season, and wouldn't be surprised if some of the Super League clubs down south are not tracking her and being English she might want a crack at that also, if the right club comes calling. Will be interesting to know what sort of valuation the club has on her?

Big, big game tomorrow again, against Sevco. Not only being the derby, but because of everything else also riding on this match, and admittedly it is still only about 1/3 of the seaosn done, but this is going to be a massive test.

A win will see Celtic leapfrog past Sevco, and really if the Ghirls are to win the league this year, not only do they need to win, they will need to do it by point on the board rather than squeaky * GD this seaon, because Sevco's GD is so, so, so far ahead already. Theoretically, if results go Celti'cs way, they could finish the weekend top of the table, but that would take City dropping points to Queens Park as well as Hibs getting the better of Hearts. Just 2 points seperating all of the top 4 teams so far this season so far.

Big test for the Hoops, after having to go to 120min + pens to squeeze past City in the SWPL League Cup last weekend, then put in a big effort in the narrow 2-1 Champions League defeat by Chelsea in midweek, so how much have the Ghirls recovered from those 2 tough games, and with not much time to recover, what have they still got in the tank?

Hopefully Sadiku is gone at the end of the season, if not sooner. Not a fan at all.

I'm not sure we even come second this season. I get there is Europe and these players aren't use to this many games but they've been struggling against some dud sides.
