Whether they admit it or not people did miss the rivalry. This was a key element in the complaining during Lennon's final season in my opinion. Lenny was romping it domestically bar a wee expected slip up here and there. At the time the job he did was not appreciated as much as it should have been. Basically people were bored. Most wont admit it but this is it. Style of football was often used as the excuse but we know there is more to it than that.

 

My only concern heading into this game is Craig Thomson. If he stays out of it and it's just a straight football match between the eleven players we put out there and the eleven players they put out there then we have nothing to worry about. We are significantly better than them.

Theres no chance of them attacking us though, unless they play 3 at the back which they might,

If they leave Kiernan and Wilson exposed as Ball and Halliday are pish as well they will get leathered by Roberts, Griffiths and Johansen and whatever other guy we have with those 3.

Well considering that in their league they have been playing Forrester, O'Halloran and King I think it is a blow none are available as Shiels and Law haven't been getting much playing time at all and when they have its 15-20 min cameos correct me if I'm wrong.

I think this Rangers team are a similar level to Hearts last year and we managed to beat them 3-0 and 4-0 I think so I'm confident but not overly at the end of the day it's a cup semi final and anything can happen just look at 3-1 vs Ross County and 3-2 vs ICT.

 

Very glad to have Griffiths and Roberts at the moment. Johansen is another I consider a big game player and performed well last game. I'd consider Forrest on the left, someone who if given a bit of room can do damage.

 

I'm already very excited, but also a bit nervous. At this point I don't care how, but just hope we absolutely slaughter them. Get into them *!!

If we cant beat that team with about 5 goals,things need addressed.

That team they have is * woeful,even a celtic side that turn up at their worst should still beat them.

They will come out and try to play,leaving spaces everywhere that we should exploit easily...a quick goal utterly kills them and they will be forced to open up even more,ala floodgates.

As said the other day....its all about the ref on they day,guaranteed red cards for us and chopped of goals

 

Aye i thought it lst year but i knew deep down we would win . As you say its not them who worry me its us

Man for man we are a better side but we have lost to worse sides than this rangers team in past semi finals.

Its all about the pitch imo Its gonna create one heck of a scrappy game which im worried about tbh and they seem to be worried about it aswell. If they score first we're gonna be chasing the game on a bobbly pitch which could be a nightmare

If anyone loses the heid and gets sent off in the first first half they should be released. Obviously unless it's griffiths im meaning like CKR, Ambrose and boyata.
