honestly, that St Mirren display was an offence against football.

there is such a thing as playing playing defensively and showing some ambition; they made absolutely no attempt whatsoever to attack.

no doubt it'll be lauded as a "brave, courageous" performance

Nice to see a good performance at home. Could've had more than 2 goals. Sitting nicely on top of the league with a game in hand. Happy days.

best reffed game I was at was when the SFA refs were on strike...and I'm sure we even drew that weekend with ICT.

BBC has the attendance at 47,790. Seems a bit generous to me, from what I saw on the stream anyway.

Are they now trying to make up for the many occasions where they chopped thousands off of our attendance figures perhaps? :smiley-laughing002:

st mirren should have just gave celtic the 3 points, was a waste of time no wonder crowds are *,on another note i would like to see mcgeoch played in the role kayal played today, infront of the midfield but behind the strikers

they just said on clyde it was 30 000

By far the most dominant performance this year, it was relentless attack and we were robbed of at least a few chances. How Hooper getting shoved in the back wasn't a penalty is beyond me.

8 corners in the first half! Could've been a massacre.

robbed of a few penalties as well. The one on Kayal being the most blatant.
And they could have been down to 10 after that foul on Hooper at the edge of the box.

    Ref was appalling.

Came on to say that too mani :smiley-laughing002::rolleyes:

When Guidi spoke about the match, Johnstone and cant even mind his name the host guy were "whats the attendance" and Guidi went "about 30 odd thousand" and the host guy went "only 30,000 at Celtic Park today"

:56: what blatant pish talk? just shows how much they are hurting, they are diluting about 15,000 off the Celtic crowds and adding about 5,000 to Sevcos

The Celtic Crowd today would have got a bawhair off fulling Sevco Park and they'd be claiming a full house, but theyre trying to say it was half full. I dont know how they can even get away with spouting that just pure nonsence??????????

    Mulgrew's corners are incredible.

Agree, some of them are just undefendable. It's a shame though, because he is one of our biggest threats aerially aswell, but his corners are just too good to not use. Commons are good, but Mulgrew's are on a whole other level

Maybe he could hang them up at the back post and then sprint into the box for the header back across goal. :icon_mrgreen:

Comfortable win that keeps us in pole position. We were never in any real danger but it was sweaty at the end, until we got the clincher.
