gaffney celtic have had the following leauge games live on setanta this season
    kilmarnock home
    hearts away
    inverness away
    aberdeen away
i bet you were not complaining when these games were shown live on setanta.

that is four leauge games already shown live this season on setanta as to your other points sky sports\itv have the rights for live champions leauge games and the bbc have the rights to show live leauge cup games in the uk and sky/ the bbc have the rights to show live scottish cup games not setanta so you can hardly blame them for not showing games which they dont have the rights for.

and another thing all leauge games are shown on celtic tv in full every monday night why dont you get off your * and come to parkhead for the dunfermline and st mirren games rather than always relying on tv to watch the team or are you another fan that criticises everything but never goes to watch the team.

by the way the man u game was shown live on sky sports
the dunfermline game was shown twice on celtic tv on monday night
and the st mirren game is aired on celtic tv tonight.

one last thing before you ask what channel the celtic v rangers game is shown live on on saturday the answere is setanta sports. which will make it the fith celtic leauge game shown live this season on setanta which out of a possible 8 leauge games this season which could have been shown live so far this season season is a superb service comprende.

setanta only promised 60 live and exclusive leauge games when you singed up for your contract not games from the champions leauge the cis cup or the tennents scottish cup so including saturdays live celtic v rangers game which is live on setanta 5 games out of 8 live is not bad going.

Man Utd pulled out of the FA Cup to concentrate on Europe at the time. The realised their mistake very quickly and now winning the Tesco Cup, sorry League Cup is a success

We loose this match, we give up, financial income that the CIS Cup generates that will come back to GS in the form of Wage Bill Limit & Transfer fees for next season, we give up a trophy, we give up that income to Rangers/Hearts Hibs etc. They take us down a peg financially.

Besides that, I dont want to give up on any trophy that we compete for. CL is the hardest to win but we should be always trying for the the domestic treble. Jock Stein was able to win every trophy he competed for in 1967, GS should always try to win every trophy aswell.

St. Mirren were fantastic last night, they certainly dont look like a team that have just been promoted.

i thaught that boy Lappin Looked good and also Murray.

i think they'll stay top 6 this season..

Agree that the Premier League and Champions League are the main priorites. But I am still very happy to see us try and win the League Cup. If we dismiss it then it is the huns or the juniors huns who play in the final and pick up more money from winning something. Plus at the end of the day it is a trophy and it is always nice to win it. Winning the League Cup in 2001 on the way to the treble that year was one of my greatest and fondest memories as a Celtic supporter. Remembering Henrik Larsson's hat trick in the final especially his run from the half way line and fake on the keeper will always be a great memory. Winning last year even was a good day and hopefully we can retain the League Cup again this year.
Having said all that I think Strachan certainly got his lineup basically right last night. As much as I want to win the League Cup there is no way we play our strongest lineup with a huns game and a Champions League game coming up in the next week. So to get Balde 90mins see Bettie score on his starting return and see Sno and Riordan make their debuts and play well makes it all in all a very nice night not to mention a solid 90 mins from young O'Dea.

next time you post about live tv games get your facts right regarding the tv rights for each individual competition before you post on here with your bleating and moaning on this forum just to reiterate my earlier point setanta only promised you 60 live and exclusive spl games when you singed up for your years contract not games from the cis cup the champions leauge or any other competition celtic play in comprende.

and another thing they never said celtic would be the live game every week as you claim you were promised either as there are ten other teams in the leauge + the huns they have got to be seen to be fair to fans of every team that takes up a subscription in there distribution of live games.

which means celtic cant be live every week also it wouldnt be fair to the fans that attend games at parkhead on a regular basis if every game was live due to being moved to early kick offs or even worse having to play on a sunday.
