Biton + Johansen =

Bhoys and ghirls I think this is going to be something very nice to watch for the foreseeable future.

 

It doesn't annoy me that he scored 3 goals. It annoys me the amount of people that act like he's been playing like he did today for months.

 

He's a good player mate, pretty certain the lad will do really well for us and Stokes seems a changed man since his signing, maybe the competition he was needing to get him back on form. Can see their partnership being really fruitful.

 

Stokes has really small ears.

 

It made a huge difference with them at the game,glad they and the club worked something out.

 

Played really well, that well that St Johnstone's only effort on goal was a deflection off Ambrose. Solid performance with some really good attacking football.

 

Forster reminds me of a lad I know.

Nobody is saying that. People are, however, happy that he's doing well and are optimistic that the new way of playing with Griffiths is the reason why.

Pretty good game and Griffiths goal was onside. Wanted to see Derk starting though. Happy with the team not taking the foot of the gas for the entire second half.

 

Regardless of Stokes doing well today, I think he is a guy that will not shrink from sight when things aren't working out. He hasn't been on a great vein of form but he has been putting in good shifts and today he just took his chances well. I would rather that than players that vanish from sight.

Hopefully he and Griffiths can strike up a good understanding along with Johansen and Biton. I would try and give these guys as much time as possible to gel before Europe starts in July.

On a side note, what is the deal with the GB? Have the club let them back officially but kept it quiet, or did they just turn up and no one bothered to get in their way?

 

In fairness to McCann he is right in the fact that youth players should playing a lot right now.
