We have won something like 14 of our last 16 games. It has * all to do with Commons and everything to do with the manager.

We have been winning games whoever is in the side.

Nah I think they would be taking a whole different tact if the results were the same but we had taken on a name like Roy Keane or Owen Coyle. Ronny is fair game to them because of who he is, basically an unknown from Norway who likes to do things a bit differently. They won't be expecting a phone call or running into him anytime soon so they'll say what they want.

Also, maybe they have just got too cosy with their new media pals and have gleaned from them the way to treat this Celtic manager.

Not really, the County game was turgid pish. We actually played infinitely better in the loss against DU.

We have played some great stuff in the last 16 games, with or without Commons.

So you think Hartson and Sutton have some sort of secret agenda against Celtic? Sorry, not buying that.

If they aren't convinced by Ronny Deila then they are entitled to that opinion. There are plenty of Celtic fans out there who aren't yet convinced by Deila either.

I doubt that you really believe what you have just said. I am not getting on to you, im just saying if you really think about it. What your basic implication is, is that ex great players for us have an agenda against the manager because he is an unknown foreigner or that he is not their mate.

Im sorry but that is not the case atall. These men are pros and despite what some supporters think these lads want the very best for our club. I have disagreed with some views attributed to them but at the end of the day they want what is best fro the club and this season we could have done so much better. I think this is the crux of the matter. It is not personal just business and if RD starts doing the business then praise will follow im sure.

I almost never agree with him and to a point that remains with that article.

He does have one thing right though, if we lose tomorrow it doesn't matter what he goes on to do at Celtic it will be held against him until the end of time.

Scott McDonald scored a barrel load of goals for Celtic, against the Huns and top European teams and all he's remembered for by a massive chunk of Celtic fans is 1 goal he scored for Motherwell.

Hate seeing ex players sniping about the manager or the team.... Yeah they are allowed their opinion like us all though.

They're Lennon's pals and a new guy coming in from nowhere, who has criticised the level of the players fitness & who Lennon has said was originally lined up as assistant (which plays into the hands of the board haters who are, most probably Hartson & Sutton's audience) is fair game to them. And yes I think they would have treated some managers differently and as ex players they have thrown some of the normal etiquette out the window when it comes to Ronny.

They were both mercenaries when players, and i see no real difference now.

Hartson just isn't very clever and it shows.

Sutton is different, his opinions are calculated. He is no better than Burley for making a quick buck off biting the hand that fed him.

This is why me and my pal are avoiding the town and we're watching at my house. Food, beers and reclining chairs with the TV on full. Beats the pub any day.

I'm almost certain that they have pre-determined that Ronny is not what's best for our club, he's been tagged as the cheap option by our cheap board and our clubs cheap mindset in the media. They are tagging on to this, and let's be truthful that's their audience, the ones who believe that kind of stuff. Added to that yes he's not been on the scene on these shores and let's be honest is a relative unknown who has just happened to have criticised the players fitness under Lennon. Truthfully I suspect they think it's more acceptable to have a go at him than say some others.

They may have been pros as players but they have been nothing more than tabloid hacks as pundits. If they wanted the very best for the club they should try getting behind the manager instead of trying to heap pressure on at every opportunity.

If RD starts doing the business? He deserves praise for the consistenty he has shown and overcoming the MASSIVE PRESSURE he was under to return us to the top of the league with a game in hand.
