Last cup final I got the 34 and ended up amongst Hibs fans so hoping to avoid HUNS. Was thinking probably best into town then bus from town?

 

This is my biggest fear. Too many people thinking this game is going to be a breeze in the park. I have already said this on another thread.I would love to see us pump them 4,5 or 6 but realistically that is not going to happen. Sevco are a wee team playing in a lower division, its their biggest game in their short history. They will sit in as all the wee teams do against us, and play on the counter with long balls. All too often we fail to break teams down that sit in while dominating possession. Sevco will be up for this game no doubt, it is their cup final, they have nothing to loose really. If they won then the media will be reporting it for months, a campaign by the media to rid Celtic of Ronny, if they loose then media reports will be "Sevco have come a long way but a bit to go" It will be a battle on and off the pitch with us prob scraping a 1-0 win which the media will portray as a moral victory for Sevco..I hope Iam wrong !!

 

Spot on. Frightening how allot cant see this potential banana skin happening. By no means will this be a breeze or a walk in a park. Look at it this way, when have we ever breezed through a semi final. Semi finals are hard. We've scrapped it through allot of games in semi finals against lower division sides. Why is this going to be any different.

Some of the score lines people are expecting are nuts too. 3s,4s. Get real. Not a chance. Nothing is as dangerous as a wounded animal. We're facing a side with nothing to lose, who will play an hundred miles an hour, make it a battle and no doubt a sympathetic referee.

 

Think well win 3-0 well convert one of our few chances from going at their 10 men at the 18 yard line, then finish them off if the last 15 minutes.

Got a ticket, cannot wait. Really hope we play our best and are a lot more clinical in the final third than we have been of late, would love to give them a hiding.

I'm enjoying people's fear, I'm not alone in being extremely concerned about losing. We have a lot of pressure on us, I don't care what anyone says - we have to win! Have to" This is a huge Old Firm, we must be merciless. Sometimes I get worried that Deila doesn't understand the gravity of the situation; the beasties are consulting Watty and they are going to give it a right go. Our goal scoring shortage is also concerning; we might get 4 one week, but the next week we're awful.

Maybe this is just the usual pre Old Firm emotions that we get and I'm just having difficulty dealing with them due to lack of familiarity.

They have got something to lose.

If we/when we hammer them the Zombies will want everyone out of that three year old club.

They will demand every player is sold, and that'll mean the likes of Black and McCulloch will lose out on earning a mammoth wage for playing against bakers and plumbers.

They will not play at 100 mph. They are *, they don't have the fluidity or drive and determination to do that. They'll be lost and we'll completely overwhelm them.

Buzzing to win the league cup, it's been too long!

 

Is there defence good enough to sit in against us? Also they lack the pace to hit us on the counter attack if there choice of forwards is Miller, Boyd or Daly. If Black and Law is there men in the middle then I cant see them holding on to the ball to create anything else.

The only hope they have is to be really organized, dont let the situation get to them and dont pretend that there are something there not and understands there miles from our level...... What I have just described is the exact opposite of there character.

So is it really going to be close? I really hope not and I really cant see it.... It has pumping all over it.
