    I doubt it.

Stokes contributes to 20 goals this season, two assists last week on a return from injury, but * it. Drop him. Jesus.

This crap is just so cliched by this point. *yawn*

Stokes should start, IMO, and if he does he'll tear them asunder. No doubt in my mind. Give him a go, Ronny! :celt_2:

    Why should he not start?

This is the worst side they have ever had and he will be up against * Foster. It's not as if we are playing a Hun side full of stars here is it.

Well I'm thinking the team on Sunday will not be too far from the team that faces Inter, and I don't trust Stokes in a game against Inter to perform to a level required.

Any thoughts about the Inter game can wait until later.

All I'm thinking about is who has been in the best form for us and who can help to destroy these *.

It's not as if we are awash with good quality options for that area anyway.

Left attacking mid as I am calling it.

The position where he has got 12 assists, 8 goals from this season and set up a good relationship with Izaguirre.

The way he was on about him being up against Foster
    So I was checking

I've never liked him out wide and would prefer him behind the striker, but on merit I would have him in the team

As I said though I don't really class the two either side of the 'number 10' position as wingers, certainly not if it's Griffiths and Stokes there.

They don't play like wingers, more inside forwards. If Forrest was there then aye he'd maybe be tempted to play more like a traditional winger but even he enjoys cutting inside alot(despite being at his best when taking the man on directly IMO).

The 3 behind, if it is Stokes, Commons and Griffiths can all interchange and get in and around the box, effectively making it a front 4, who are all capable of scoring goals from outside or in the box, especially against this lot.

Folk might moan about the 4-2-3-1 but when we are pressing and piling the pressure on you can't get much more attacking, if the movement is right.

Commons on the left I'd go for, Griffiths wide right.

You would drop our best player for two people who between them haven't done as much as the one guy you would bench.

    I hope your name isn't Ronny. :50:

I don't know, I'm just pondering about things. I suppose tried and tested this season does make sense. :icon_mrgreen:

Well, it's versatile as you say. The middle of the attacking three can sit deep, so it becomes like an attacking diamond. if we're controlling from middle then we'll always have width, the zombies can't put passes together so them trying to counter us should be a laugh.
