On a brighter note, we kept a cleansheet for the first time in a while

    @Daibhi.

It's up to the team to give the fans something to sing about.

Like it or not there is shitloads of apathy floating about the club right now. People are probably turning up more out of loyalty than anything else.

That was more stressful than it had to be. Maybe our first win at home for a while and a clean sheet, 200th goal etc etc will help us kick on a really good run now. Hopefully. If not I'm beginning to get a bit more worried. That was a horrible game to watch. I celebrated the goal like a big Euro goal, I was just so relieved.

But I still want Ronnie to do what he wants to do. I hope he can make it work and we go on a run. But for the first time I am worried about the whole situation.

To be fair Thistle did play well and set out to frustrate the * out of us.

    1 game played in 2016, 1 victory, 100% record.

    What a manager. :34:

As else someone mentioned as well, Lenny did with Killie. Maybe this is that same moment.

I don't think Thistle set out to frustrate us at all, they tried to win that game.

Had two forward players pushed right up on our denfence most of the game forcing us into mistakes, had the more clear cut chances and had about 10 corners.

IMO it's boring because teams have worked out that our game is based on intensity and speed and understandably set up to slow the game down. Well, I say they worked it out, but Ronny keeps telling anyone who will listen.

It's Ronny's job to counter that with some kind of tactical plan, but instead all he seems to do is just try and get the team to try harder to lift the pace. Football doesn't work that way.

He needs help from someone with more tactical experience, it shouldn't be his choice.

Aye? Greatest fans in the world as long as the team are playing well and providing us with plenty to cheer about, eh?

Otherwise we'll stop showing up, start moaning like * and get on the teams cases when things aren't going well.

If I was a player just now I'd probably prefer playing away from home, where the team actually get some form of support.

Have to agree with that. Did well overall and had one fantastic, really big, save. Griff and Forrest did well when they came on but big Craig kept us in it. :50::celt_2::shamrock:

Same here mate. I didn't renew my ST this season and tbh I'm kinda glad I didn't now, never thought I'd say that. It's hard enough watching it on a stream never mind actually sitting in the freezing cold watching dross.

I don't think we should take anything away from Partick who gave us our toughest match of the season, they are in great form and we're highly motivated today, we weren't and still managed to get the win.
