Aye, that's what will happen. Motherwell have a chance of finishing 2nd, making an extra £900,000 for doing so, but they'll likely go out with the intention of not doing that

We can't afford to play flashy football when on a huge winning run like this though. If we want to maintain it and beat MON's record, we just need to keep grinding out results in any way we can.

That may be true of the recent home games but away we have been playing our best football in years.

Just about every side that comes to Celtic Park these days adopts the Walter Smith boring tactic of parking the bus and those type of games are never easy to break down. Thankfully we have managed to beat those tactics and it may not be pretty at times but with each passing week the title is closer to coming home. That for the majority of fans is all that matters. We have waited and been cheated for too long now to claim what is rightfully ours.

 

Good 3 points today, if Well want second place they`ll need to do it themselves,glad that we gave them * all.

How will they make an extra £900k

 

spot on pal im sick n tired of this * we get every home game it is dire at times and we should be crackin a cricket score against most of these teams at home but their tactics v us are deplorable. great run from us non the less keep the winning ways coming so all them bhoys that took william hills 10,000/1 odds them weeks back can get a good payout

 

That was the number quoted by Daryll King on the radio as the difference between finishing 3rd & 2nd in the SPL overall.

At the end of the day, they'll make more money by finishing 2nd in the league. Why the * would they throw any chance of that away by lying down to Rangers?
