Heard today City sent 500 tickets back, they sold 2700 and were given 3200 by all accounts

Gordon (Bailly on the bench, I'd start him if I was BR)

    Lustig Toure Simunovic Sviatchenko Tierney

    Forrest Bitton Brown Sinclair

    Dembele

Shut up shop and hold out for the first half. Bring Griffiths on in the second half to stretch their defense and Roberts to provide quality after Forrest tires. Griffiths, Sinclair, and Roberts have a goal in them, just need to hold off the onslaught and get them one chance in the second half.

    1-0 Celtic.

I think so by quite a distance, he pulls the strings plus can go past players and scores aswell, this boy has the lot to go all the way, its funny that Chelski sold him though :icon_mrgreen:

Arguably so between him and aguero , guardiola definitely rates him as his best

Hand on heart, for me it is about 50/1 we will win the game, and about 20/1 the draw.

If pushed to name a score, id say 1-3 or similar. They are multiple levels above us, and any decent result will be huge. Our best players would not get on their bench,,,ever! Id take a non embarrassing loss right now. Our Borussia games are our only chances of points for me.

Not a chance, we are 9/1 to win the match best price anywhere.

Celtic Park with a 60,000+ sell out on a CL night would never see us a 50/1 chance against ANY side.

We were something like 10/1 when we beat Barcelona 2-1, who for me are a level up from Man City.

I am actually terrified. I haven't even asked for my day off to be Wednesday, I'm not even sure I can bring myself to watch this even if I am off.

Struggling to see us getting something out of the game but we are playing at Celtic Park so anything can happen.

I'd take a respectable 0-1 or 1-2 loss right now with a good performance so we can at least go in to the Monchengladbach games with our heads held high. Remember that Man City have won every competitive game so far this season - we are playing against a team full of confidence and enjoying their football.

But what I do expect is a much more solid defensive performance compared to the Nou Camp. No * ups in goal or people forgetting to mark their man or track their runners etc. Do your jobs properly and we might have a shot of getting something.

As long as we do not gift them goals then I cannot complain.

Should they just outclass us with a good performance then you can only hold your hands up to it.

What I don't want is calamitous goalkeeping to give them 1 or 2 along with the positional sense we had against Barcelona for their first.

Play to our full potential and if it isn't enough then we can't do more.

Pep has Man City playing like a well oiled machine right now, 10 wins from 10 in all competitions scoring 30 goals in that time.

Yeah, but look, to pull off something like that against that calibre of opposition you need 4 things

    A: Celtic v Barcelona 2012

    1) You need the team to be playing at 100%
    2) You need a quality DM, preferably an absolute beast
    3) You need to ruthlessly take what chances you get
    4) You need your goalkeeper to have a worldy

    B: Celtic v Manchester City 2016

    1) I think Rodgers will have us playing at the top of our capabilities. :50:
    2) No real DM in our team, let alone a Wanyama. :54:
    3) We are still extremely wasteful in front of goal. :54:
    4) Dorus De Vries have a worldy? About as likely as Chris Sutton being caught in bed having a threesome with Ronny and Derek Johnstone TBH :54:

This quote from a Man City forum :smiley-laughing002:

"Been to a Celtic game courtesy of my old job. Very very hostile ground and it won't be any different, and I mean hostile, it is on another level. Was at a Celtic v Hibs game and couldn't believe some of the abuse coming out of what I thought was adults but turned out to be young girls"

I can't believe some people are saying they would take a loss before the game. Goal difference doesn't really matter and it's at Celtic park so anything can happen
