    Eikrem has been playing poorly and has been benched the last few league games because of it. He is a good player when playing at 100% but I'm not too worried.

    They are a team that gives their all for a result (especially in Europe). They bleed, vomit and run themselves into the ground. They have a talismanic striker (good but old) and an inspiring coach.

    I think that if they get a goal or the feeling that they might get something out of the tie, they'll rally and be hard to beat.

    You can call Berget atrocious all you want, but he has played much better in Sweden 9 goals in 18 league/cup games (as a midfielder) isn't that bad + probably som assists too.
    As I wrote earlier, Berget was named the 5th best player (performance wise) in the swedish league by swedish experts in May. The player they thought had played best in the league, was Eikrem.

    After all the talk about malmo's manager claiming we were below par, that scottish football is dreadful and that they would easy beat us. (before this season kicked off and last season if i remember correctly). It feels like.. well fate and a wonderful chance to shove his words down his throat

    All that tells me is that the standard in Sweden must not be very high at all. Berget was very poor in a Celtic shirt. His performance in his first match in a packed Celtic Park was absolutely abysmal, so I'm not too afraid that his next visit will be anything to worry about.

    A very tough tie but we can win it. These guys knocked Salzburg, a team who proved to be a very good side themselves, out to get in the Champions League last season. It'll be a hard one and will really test how far our side has came along under Ronny

    You're right.. They met Salzburg again this season though. Lost 2-0 away and beat Salzburg 3-0 at home again to go through 3-2 on aggregate.

    Very tough? Seriously? It'll not be easy for sure, but in all honesty if we don't have what it takes to beat a team like this over two legs we don't deserve to be anywhere near the Champions League.

    Was just reading that Nikola Djurdic who played for Helsingborg when we played them will play because Markus Rosenberg is suspended for the first leg, wasn't he utter * ?

    Seen they have ex Aberdeen player Kari Arnason as well.

    I can't remember how he played against us. But he scored goals at Helsingborg. He also scored two against us in a friendly, when he was at Greuther Furth
