If there is no one that can get a place in front of Ambrose then we are * and they should just give up football because that man is a * donkey.

Going by all the links we have been trying to get another CB in.But why rush/panic buy when we should have enough cover to see us through against a team like Red Imps.

McGregor and Johansen (if he stays) should start over Brown & Bitton every time for me.

Bitton should never have worn a Celtic shirt again after this antics in last seasons semi-final. An absolute * disgrace he was that day.

Brown is * done too. I'm fed up with his faux-hardman pish. He's also not a very good football player.

You can't blame all that on Ambrose to be fair. He is shocking but so are the majority of the team, we absolutely scraped by last season and Lawwell and co thinks signing a big name manager will get the crowds excited sell out season tickets whilst making an absolute fortune will justify the fact we don't make any big name signings or sign anybody over the price of £3m or something and he will be rubbing his hands together still.

We'll still qualify at Parkhead hopefully but until that team gets a total revamp we will continue to get * results against * teams and struggle because barely any of those players have the heart, desire or quality to play for Celtic anymore and smaller teams are coming at us with more fight and we're showing that we can't cope with that a lot.

Brown is past it as well his first touch has become terrible and he's continually giving the ball away and can't string passes together or control the midfield. Total refurbishment of the team is needed especially at the back and midfield.

Offer him a contract, if he doesn't agree to terms after you negotiate then thank him for his contribution and move onto the next target. I thought we would have learned lessons of the recent seasons that we need to strengthen the squad early as the qualifiers come so early in the summer. Clearly not though, still doing the same * about as always.

Broon is no more than a modern day Ray Wilkins....all you get is short sideways passes.

    Mulgrew should be signed up.

Ambrose never seen near our jersey again.

If lessons can be learned from this then something positive may well come out with f it but I'm not excusing in any way a truly shocking night in our clubs history.

Was Kennedy asleep all last season? A new era was never going to begin with Ambrose in the team and Griffiths pushed out wide. Has Rogers seen any videos from last season??????

This type of logic really makes you wonder how they are paid the money they are, id say 99% of this forum would have picked a stronger set up than that....that's simply disturbing

If we can't get past a team from Gibraltar it's time to just shut down Scottish football. Worst result in living memory and I missed the * game as well!

As he said a 17 year old midfielder, his point is valid the club has been run into the ground squad wise for a while now, and Efe Ambrose just sums that up entirely, i would rather play with 10 men than have him on the field he is a walking * up of a player

Last night was a hard one to take. An absolute embarrassment but I feel that we will score 4 + next week. Even with that team. A packed stadium and that crowd will fall apart. Need to make serious changes I'd start Roberts. I'd drop Efe even if that means playing 3 at the back the man is an absolute clown.

Things Brendan must consider and act upon imo for his team next week and even against Wolfsburg this weekend to give the team a game to adjust together before Red Imps next week.

Lustig has to come in at CB, it's time up for Efe I'm afraid and he just isn't as reliable as he used to be under Lenny anymore. Lustig has played there before and done well and a pairing of Erik and Lustig will be a lot more solid and reliable.

End this experiment of Griffiths on the right wing, Griffiths is not a winger and never will be, said it before doesn't have the attributes needed to play such a position. He either gets played on his own up top or in a partnership with Dembele. If he wants Dembele up front instead of Griffiths then Griffiths has to be on the bench. But those are his choices. Imo he should be going with two up front next week.

Patrick Roberts has to be brought back into the side, he's the one player who can create or score something from nothing and is such a unique player to have for these ties and this season, use him on the right wing and get the best out of him, an absolute waste to have him on our bench when he could be sitting on City's instead.

Scott Brown must be dropped, he's finished and not the player he used to be, he's now captained us to many disasters these last few years and it's no coincidence he's always been a part of these performances. Make Erik captain now and Brown club captain with his role to rally the players off the pitch and in the changing room, he brings us nothing on the pitch and far from being a passenger he is actually now a liability who cannot be trusted in possession or to make decent tackles any longer without giving away silly fouls.

If Brendan fills out these changes by next week we'll rescue the tie and comfortable imo. Either go with a straight 4-4-2 or a 4-1-3-2 imo

    ---Janko-----------Lustig------------Erik------------Tierney-------

    ---Roberts---------Bitton------------McGregor------Forrest------

    ----------------------------Bitton-----------------------------------

    ----------Roberts----------Rogic----------------Forrest------------

    --------------------Dembele----------Griffiths----------------------

Upon skelping this mob next week, Brendan needs to be on the lookout for a CB, CM, RB, LW, GK and possibly another ST. That's the rebuilding job that is needed here.

Neither obviously I wasn't going that far. :smiley-laughing002:

A * off from me in the sense I will be mightily angry, frustrated, disappointed and just so, so * off with Brendan already and he's only just started here.

I'd fully expect 5 or 6 goals next week to make amends for that shocker of a show. Players thought they were still on holiday. Any less and I'd release every single player.
