Whatever happened to the spirit of the game, good sportsmanship, common courtesies, honourable conduct, and all that sort of stuff?

Surely there's no history of hatred between Polish and Scottish clubs to justify all this nonsense?

I am not saying that there aren't any * sympathisers among Legia fans, because there are (sadly, such sickf*cks are to be found amongst supporters of many clubs in Europe) but that particular photo you were referring to was taken in 1997, it was a single game and I haven't seen any hakenkreuz flags on Ł3 since then.

My point is, the overwhelming majority of Legia fans are not right-wing fanatics, as we are sometimes depicted in the media, and don't care about politics too much. We care about football, and football-wise Celtic seems to be a better side at the moment, but as we all know anything is possible on the pitch, so let's concentrate on sport, enjoy the game, and may the better team win.

Well, as I said--the hakenkreuz flag never appeared after the incident in 1997, so apparently someone must have "talked to" the half-wit who brought it.

I could ask a similar question though--why don't Celtic fans give a right good kickin' to the muppets who wear t-shirts and hang banners with a communist murderer on them?

But, taking into account that neither majority of Legia fans are * sympathisers nor majority of Celtic fans are communist sickf*cks, isn't all this a little beside the point?

Should be a few Celtic pubs in Partick or Byers Road showing the game.

Try and get your facts right before using images to try and get your point across. Top one shows the Green Brigade pointing towards another section of the Celtic support as part of the, "Come on you Bhoys in Green" chant. Plenty of video's exist showing this same chant and gesture.

The lower picture is indeed some fans giving the * salute so congratulations you did find some *'s. However, they are MOTHERWELL FC neo * fans not Celtic.

 

I'm sure that first picture with the GB is a photo during the PMFA chant.

You know what? I registered especially for this. Im proud to be a Legia fan but since I was a little kid, I've always liked and felt sympathy towards two other teams - Juve & Celtic. When I heard we're gonna play against you guys, I was so happy. Two of my favs on one pitch. After reading through forums, I feel confused.

You are right that that guy can't speak English and sounds like a moron. It's not the most important thing here though. I've read posts stating that 95% of Legia fans are * rasist scum. The wrongful image of us is the real problem, we have done nothing to deserve this. Well, let me tell you something:

Its true there are some idiots among our fans and it has been some kind of a problem many years ago. It's long gone now. Isnt that the case with all the clubs in the world? It's just history repeated.

We have a modern, great stadium. We've got efficient security and fantastic fans, 90% of them are well educated and from Warsaw and they are really valuable people.Sure, there are some ultras, but there are also families with children.

Im not sure we will have anything to offer on football terms, its the weakest Legia I have ever witnessed, but when it comes to fans, we're the Europe's finest and I can assure you the atmosphere will be astounding. Euro 2012 was a test and we passed it, learned a lot.

Im gonna wave to you, so watch the screen carefully.

Firstly glad you like our club but please dont take what some people say on this forum to heart we tend to get a little flustered and ramble gibberish about things we know little about when we get annoyed. We all know your club isnt a fascist club and as with many mainland european clubs have their idiotic fans who think waving a fascist flag to intimidate opposition is great we always remember the bad * and rarely the good people surrounding the *!

Hope you enjoy the game lad and all you polish bhoys but tbh i hope we pump you lot not because of any dislike i just want to get to the group stages

id go for this team to start, and try keep it tight, maybe sneak an early goal,i dont no if its ronnys style but to play defensive. i get the feeling hes likes to attack and have the ball no matter who its against or were.
