Just realised that I'm in the top tier for the game. I've seen where the goals are situated too. Hopefully I can move. :smiley-laughing002:

Completely agree mate. I'd be jump on the CSC bus and making my way up the road if I wasn't working in Newcastle.

What crowd are we expecting for this? My uncle reckons about 30,000.

Would assume that would be the team, only Griffiths will be in for either Boerrigter or Pukki

Hopefully we can put a few past this lot tomorrow night. We should because they are a poor side. A few goals could give our strikers a confidence boost which will come in handy for the next round.

Well I don't think Gordon was signed to be back up.

Gordon's been without a club for 2 years. I think he'd settle for back-up at one of the biggest clubs in the world.

All this negative speculation is really healthy though.

It's not a case of him settling for back-up. I just don't think we would have signed him to be a back-up. We have Zaluska here already who is perfectly capable of filling those boots (or gloves).

    How is it negative speculation?

You've taken his signing as an indication that Forster's off rather than a signal of ambition from the club, bringing in a keeper who has the potential to push Forster for a starting place which Załuska, decent back-up though he is, is incapable of doing.

Just seems to be a lot of people on here moving our players on and writing our season off before anything's happened.

And their entitled to that opinion. And rightly so. Our model is buy cheap and sell for profit.

If they're not gone this window, it'll be in January or next summer.

I'm just being realistic. Going by our transfer dealing the last few years it seems only natural that Forster will be off soon for big money. Therefore signing a former Scottish international, who was once worth £9 million, on a free seems like a smart signing to make. Celtic don't seem to be making a lot of ambitious moves these days so call it negative if you want, but I won't be betting it's a signal of ambition.

I can't see us winning this. We've made it clear that we are not going to sign anyone and our manager is only here because he has no backbone, not on merit. We should just play to keep the scoreline down. It'll be a tough ask as our first-choice goalkeeper and centre-half will be on a plane to England and the other one will still be distracted by his phobia of teams who play in black and white. Can only see a 10-0 win for Reykjavik. All Craig Gordon own goals. Peter Lawwell will probably be pickpocketing us on the way into the stadium so keep your eyes peeled.
