It was a perfect day at the office until Boyata had his double lapses of concentration.
Agree with the poster who said Boyata is Ambrose in disguise. Looks like we have two wallies in defence, and three if you count Izzyguire.

Only 39 pages, does that mean there was actually more TC people at the game than on here for once?:97:

Brown motm definitely, he was excellent until he went off. We are much better with him in the team.

To be fair to big Boyata the defence doesn't have all the defensive responsibility, once Broony went off, Armstrong too, the defence was more exposed.

I'm happy with that up to 70 odd mins. Good goals from us, subs need to do better though and keep the flow / intensity up. Mulgrew is not a midfielder. This game was actually a good example of why we need a player like Scotty Allan.

Swear you are going to get stuck up there if you insert your head anymore into Scott Allan's *.

Fair play to Johansen today. I've been hard on him the last couple of games, but his passing was back to normal standard today. Still a little raw compared to his best last season, but he'll get there.

Voted Boyata for the lols. Wouldn't panic too much, absolutely dominated for 70 mins+ with the first team on. Three points in the bag and a fully fit squad for the big yin on Wednesday..

I wasn't really comparing him to anyone else tbf.

If you want to compare and ask would I rather we play forrest or Mcgregor? That answer would be no and I think bringing in Scott Allan shows that Ronnys maybe not too happy with his options in that area too . Mcgregor is pish and forrest is marginally better.

For seventy minutes, we were unbeatable.

    Then, that last twenty.

As I said before, I'm hoping it'll get ironed out as the season progresses, but I'm a bit concerned now going into the Malmo game. :54:

Agree that we played well for 70 mins, worrying again about Boyata, he is an accident waiting to happen IMO, can see why others have said he maybe Ambrose mark 2.

His concentration levels are a worry especially when we have our most important games of this season coming up in the next two weeks. Fingers crossed we get into the groups cause we still need some more players in this side.

Would love us to sign a left back, another centre half or give VVD a new deal so we don't lose money on him like we did with other by letting them run contracts down, and we really need a forward who is a better than what we have.

Good match great pressure throughout the game. Boyata made the two mistakes and ICT were on a high but were never going to catch us.

I would prefer we made the mistakes on days like today and in the game mid week than the Malmo game. So hopefully we have that out our system.

    MOTM Broony.
