I was very impressed with Hibs today, they moved the ball about beautifully. First half our midfield was very pedestrian and supply to the front men was awful. I liked the two new guys and I feel Caldwell improves with every game. Wilson I felt struggled in the first half but this was due to Naka giving no cover. Naka would be better in the hole where he could forget his defensive duties as he provides no cover whatsoever.Wilson could find out why Telfer is *. The big man certainly lifted the game and the crowd as most of them stayed till the eighty fifth minute. If we could toughen up the midfield we shouldn't be too far away from being a decent team.

I have just returned from the game and I must say what a game! Naylor looks a great signing. Granted he was part to blame for the hibs goal but he had a few cracking tackles in the second half and his crosses were spot on just no-one to convert them.

VoH looks the part aswell he, if he stays long enough, will prove to be a legend. The guy got into glasgow at 7am and he still came on to change the game.

The only disappointment was that wee McGeady didnt get the motm award - he played out of his skin today the guy is going to be a * - if only he learns to lift his head more.

Website man of the match was Aiden McGeady

I never caught it on the screen but i thought McGeady was awful in the 1st half, I would have given it to Lee Naylor the bhoy picked up an injury about 55 - 60 mins into the game and he played on better than most he made some great direct passes forward i would have given it to him.

    Well done sons well done
Sounds like a good debut for Vennegoor of Hesselink, does something have a small soundclip for me with the fans cheering for Jan? Would be nice!

What i've read here fits exactly in my image for Jan. He makes other players play better, especially when you got skilled and paced strikers around him. Jan can come on every minute, and will be useful every minute he'll play: he's very very consistent. When Jan plays the whole team benefits, it was the same here in Eindhoven.
It says enough that he didn't trained with the players at all, that in the afternoon he was taking a plane back to Scotland, and still make an effort for his team.

I don't know to much about the Scottish league but I can remember Hibernian was a decent opponent, right? ;)

    Cheers

I thought McGeady was a bit too greedy. I would have gave Mom to Magic.
