Celtic Vs Hibs - Pre-Match Thread

In yesterday's press conference Lenny was asked about injuries and selection..
He said a small tear in Izzy's thigh will keep him out this week and probably next , should return after the next international break.. Kayal is fit.. Jos should be fit in a weeks time , Forrest and Paddy both expected to be out for a while..
When the reporter intimated Scott Brown would come straight back into the team today , Lenny said not neccessarily , there's no automatic picks at Celtic..


Im hoping to see Stokes and Hooper from the start and a continuation of their goals so when the huns game arrives they are both crying out for starts..
Sammy as a great option to come from the bench and run at tiring defences..

As somebody else mentioned , I think there's a good chance Wilson will be left back but could just as easily be Mulgrew.. I don't see Ledley or Juarez slotting in there today..

 

I would play Juarez at full back over Mulgrew. Allows Ledley to play in midfield (hopefully with Kayal) where he is much better whereas Juarez looks like more of a utility player.

I don't think the Scotland team has been announced for the next couple of games yet mate has it? I think Maloney will be in it this time, especially with McFadden out. He should have been in the last squad anyway.

 

I'll go for 3-2 tough game today especially if mulgrews at left back. 1 for stokes 2 for sammy.

 

Oh right. I knew there was an inernational break coming up but didn't think Maloney would be involved...

 

I might be wrong but I think the squad is announced on Thursday, that's what I thought u heard anyway.

Today will be interesting to see if Lennon sees what we all see...that Brown isn't good enough to walk back into the starting 11.

If Brown is in the starting 11, and we lose, the forum will implode, mark my words!

I've been a brown supporter since he joined if he plays as brilliantly as he can he is awesome. My faith is slipping drastically now i'm hoping for ki in the middle now

Aren't doctors supposed to do that? That's how he played with an ankle injury that wasn't treated properly, during Mowbray. Was not playing well then. Brown has a big heart, but a small brain. I hope Lennon doesn't play him until doctors confirm he's fit.
