Celtic Vs Hearts.

Doubt it will be on the TV as apart from the OF games Celtic only allow the cameras in for 2 other league games , they usually wait till the end of the season for that as the title race nears conclusion

 

This is a big one for Lenny tacticly. I agree with most on here about Paddy sitting this one out i would probably go for Mulgrew or Ledley on the left. On the right Forrest or maybe Freddies experience could come on handy, leaning more towards Forrest tbh. The back 4, central 2, and front to pick themselves tbh.

If big maj is out then Kelvin has to be brought in, no doubt about it.

put juarez in at rb, put wilson in a cb next to rogne. not enough time to get a new cb in and put him next to rogne. we desperately need a new cb. mulgrew playing in the middle with rogne today was shocking. can't bear the thought of loovens in the hoops ever again

Charlie Mulgrew done well at centre back, and has played this position before successfully with Aberdeen, and I would play him and Rogne to counter the Kevin Kyle threat.

 

2-1 to the hoops! we need the team to turn up on wed night though. if no? we wont win this i dont think.

 

2-0 Hooper double can see late goals to be honest end to end stuff.

 

Things level themselves out over a season we are told..

I expect the minis will have a man sent off for a fully commited challenge..
jefferies will do his nut and the 4th official will grass him to the ref , who'll send him to the stands.
the minis will have a blatant penalty decision for handball turned down (probably because the officials will be too close to the incident to see it clearly)
thrown in's for them will be giving to us.. 50/50's will go our way..

I don't trust Mulgrew at CB, but better than at LB as he has 2 players as cover for him.
It is risky to put new players in difficult game like vs Hearts. We wouldn't have to fear as much, if in previous games some other players (other than Wilson, Majstorovic,Rogne, Izzaguire,Mulgrew) played in defensive position. Rotating starting 11 is not such a bad idea, especially with our enormous squad. We have players who could step in , in case of injury (Juarez, Misun,...Loovens), yet they aren't ready. I just hope Big Dan is OK.

 

Might be a blessing in disguise mate that Majstorovic is out. He looked really rocky again to me today, and he has a head like a thruppney bit. It would be very risky pitchforking a new player into our defence against an inform Hearts when he dozen't even know our players. Stick with Mulgrew. he will fight for the jersey, and he looks more composed and cultured on the ball than Majstorovic does.

 

anyone think we should call young thompson back, dont think he getting any game time down at rochdale is it, oh why did we send hooivled out on loan when loovens not back yet,

 

This is the team we NEED to pick imo on Wednesday, unless a new CB is brought in this is the team I would pick.

This will be a real physical test so I wouldn't risk playing McCourt, Juarez needs to play at RB and show just what he can do, this allows us to push Wilson to centre back to partner Rogne at the heart of our defence. Huge test for Juarez IF he get's the starting place. Ledley we all know can do a good job out left and even though he lacks the pace to constantly get behind the full backs his movement and passing ability should cause Hearts a couple of problems with Forrest offering a bit of pace on the other side. ​

I agree with you middle to front but I can't see juarez getting a game! Think it will be the same back 4 that finished the game today with Mulgrew at CB for more height in there against Kyle! Unless of course we sign a CB before then!

nah he was at dundee before they went into administration. he was moaning about not being one of the first choice centre halfs atm.

Not sure who will play at CB for this one, but it will be Izzy and Wilson at full back! Think we should play Brown and Kayal in CM, Forrest on the right and Ledley on the left with Stokesy and Hoops up top! Really hope that Passenger McCourt doesn't start this one, I'm fed up watching him run into players and lose the ball!
