after the shambles that was thursday,any sort of win will do.and please tony no more caldwell in midfield.

 

I can see few changes, for example Crosas and McGinn may start, also rotation in our defence with Loovens coming on. Don't know yet whether we'll play with one or two strikers, but I can see Skippy starting either way. That'd be a wise move, he's fittest from all our strikers and has the most chances to score when up front.

I'm going with a 1:0 win or a sneaky draw from mini Huns. Hope that doesn't happen, though, we need to win.

 

when does ZZ start?

 

Hes not signed yet, still waiting on his papers going threw, think he trained with the Bhoys this week though, & the Manager did say we might see him in the next couple of weeks, so he might play next weekend against St Mirren, maybe as a sub..

This will be the second game this season I've been able to get to. Hope to * its a vast improvement on the other nights performance.

i want rid of the main culprits from wednesday in this game and i think this is a very balanced team . flood offer's more than brown .mcginn offer's more than maloney. mcginn will get balls in for skippy and chris too .

 

Right, the Huns have slipped up again. We must see character, desire and hunger tomorrow. It will be a tough game, Hearts will try and get Andy Driver in behind our fullbacks when we're pushing forward. No doubt Artur will need to be at his best as going by out defensive displays so far this season they will get a few chances - everyone else has.

We are at home, against a Hearts teams with enough of their own problems. With the intense schedule of recent internationals, the friendly in Canada, european matches (the game on thursday in particular) combined with the upcoming congested fixture list, I think we need to consider rotating the squad.

With that in mind, I would only go as far as saying the following players should be guaranteed starts for tomorrow;

Loovens
Fox (I would consider leaving him out if we had adequate cover)
McManus
McGeady
Crosas
McDonald
Samaras (if fit, which looks unlikely)

Players I would remove from the team/squad
Caldwell
Scott Brown

That leaves 3, perhaps 4 places up for grabs, so I would consider the following to challenge recent first team starters for a place.

Cant help but think anything less than 3 points tomorrow will just not be good enough, in all fairness i'm not to worried what the starting 11 will be, watever 11 we put out should be capable of picking up 3 points.

Also is it just me or has the last couple of drab games reminded you of the closing stages of last season under Strachan? I think some players should start putting in decent and consistent shifts, N'guemo, Caldwell (pay rise i right) and Broony to name a few.

We deserve a decent performance tomorrow, lets hope we get one.

 

It is another marvellous opportunity to go clear in the league again after last week's disappointment. In saying that the two games we have had to play have been against opposition who have a track record of making life extremely difficult for us. I would expect Hearts to play 4-5-1 with two solid banks of four and five against us. They will be very hard to breakdown and they will probbaly push up Andy Driver to support their lone striker, making them dangerous on the break. We should know the script by now. This is the same Hearts who took
two draws off us last year at home, which on reflection would equate to the four points we lost the league by.

We need creativity and not a little imagination to carve them open. Perhaps Paddy McCourt could be given a chance to run at their packed defence, with Killen as a battering ram against their centre backs, and Barry Robson back in the center to give us some dig in there.

It won't be easy, but these are the type of games that will ultimately decide the outcome of the league I reckon.

So if we set out our stall for three points and believe we will get them , then that is what will happen.

 

If Robson is fit get him in there instead of Broony. Been terrible the last few games and Robson will give you the power and heart that we are missing when Broony is off form.

 

Hearts will be tough to break done so we'd be best to play 2 upfront cause skippy up on his own wont get us anywhere.think we'll just edge it.As for a starting 11 id go.
