    He wasn't playing as a striker, as you know fine well. He's the top assister in the team at the moment, he is by far our most creative player.

    Same here Stokes is contributing he assisted Guidetti's second goal against St Mirren and he was heavily involved in Commons goal on Thursday so he has helped us get 6 points in the last week

    If you want him to contribute more goals he needs to play up front with a striker partner, anything else and his goal return goes downhill.

    He'll probably still end up with 20 odd goals this season, he usually does.

    He was, largely, the same last season....then hit a great streak as the season was ending! I'm reading this morning, he's lost 3/4 of a stone under Ronny's new regime lol, so maybe he'll start banging them in good style shortly ;)
