I have nothing to offer, opinion wise, on our current situation. Whilst I want Ronnie to do well and get this team going in the right direction. Unfortunately I can't see any of his master plan taking shape. Tactics and subs etc abysmal. But maybe it's too early. Maybe the players can't see his vision either. Sick of reading posters calling for his head as much as I am sick of people covering up for his downfalls. So on this front I will fence sit for another while before passing judgement. On a side note just went into pub section to cheer me up and the first thread was about assisted suicide! Think I will take a break for a while!:38:

That's the way his body language is naturally, I think.

Wouldn't take it as being an indicator of him trying any less.

Playing at CB I'd take O'Dea a hundred times over before Ambrose as well

That was * shameful. No quality in the final 3rd whatsoever, couldn't pass, cross or shoot. I've always been an advocate of giving managers time and have always said that we should give Ronny a chance to get the team playing his way, but I've had enough now. We're showing no signs of 'getting there', if anything we're going backwards. The game against Dundee UTD earlier in the season was one of the best performances I've seen from us in a long, long time, but think you'd have to go back to when we were 3-0 down at half time against Kilmarnock for a performance as bad as today. For a man to call himself a manager and then think that the best thing to do when we're 1-0 down and playing * at home to Hamilton is to bring on Tonev is disgraceful. I don't think he has a clue.

Aye definitely O'Dea before Ambrose. At least O'Dea wouldn't try to skin 4 players before losing the ball and getting caught out.

I've supported Deila but alot of doubt has entered my mind.

The substitution of taking Guidetti off and replacing him with Griffiths but just keeping the same formation was a joke. It was glaringly obvious that one striker up front was not working and we needed either Stokes (who was absolutely useless by the way) or Griffiths of Scepovic to play along side Guidetti. Instead Griffiths just replaced Guidetti in getting no service.

The crossing was dire again, set pieces wasted, open goal opportunities missed. A real lack of desire after the Hamilton goal also, looked like they couldn't be arsed.

    Just awful really.

He isn't that great at right back lets be honest.

As you say he is rotten going forward from that position, but even defensively he continually tucks in thinking he is still playing centre half leaving an abundance of space out right for the opposition to exploit.

His performance against Maribor to use a recent example was one of the worst I can claim to have seen from a defender in recent years. Luckily they didn't capitalise on it too much, in the first half anyway.

On the point you made about him being first choice at right back internationally, that is purely because there is a distinct lack of natural Nigerian right backs. If there was even one half decent one available I am sure Ambrose would be shifted out.

As soon as Lustig or Matthews come sback, he won't be playing RB any more, and he will struggle to replace Denayer at CB - so, whilst he's good enough for cover at RB for Celtic, he's no way 1srt choice there.
