Not getting carried away with the result. Ok , we won but shouldn't have expected anything else. The first half was better than we have seen for weeks but for every bit we were better Morton were very poor. Pretty nieve defending for all 3 goals, GMS was better than he has been, KT was MOM, shows every week how every other player should be playing. The first half had some good passages of play with quick passing and inter play. But we over pass it to much and still drop to a walking pace. We need a right back that can deliver like KT does on the left, Lustig was poor again.

The second half was back to the normal stuff we have had to endure for the last few weeks. Roberts coming on though gave us a bit of hope. I don't think there was much improvement against what was a poor Championship team. On recent performances Sevco have every chance of beating us in the Semi, like Hearts, they seem to be playing with a bit of pace about them. I don't fear them as we have better players in every position, but Ronny better sort it out very quickly or a defeat could damage this club for a few years.

whit is this *, are they just takin the * out us now or what?

CELTIC Football Club would like to extend its upmost thanks to supporters for their brilliant backing at today’s Scottish Cup tie with Greenock Morton in Paradise.

Given the quarter-final match took place on Mother’s Day, kicked off at lunchtime on a Sunday and was screened live on TV, the Club hugely appreciates all the fans who were in attendance for the Hoops' dominant 3-0 victory.

Following the triumph over the Championship outfit, Ronny Deila's side are now looking forward to a semi-final at Hampden next month along with their remaining league fixtures as they attempt to make history and lift a fifth successive championship.

And being able to call upon such faithful supporters will be vital for the champions over the coming months as they pursue a domestic double and aim to deliver more silverware success.

It was a preemptive '* off!' to all the haters who're going to start slating our support for ditching the team and try to further unsettle our dressing room/team spirit. I've no issue with that statement at all...

Well done to Leigh Griffiths on making the magic 100 goals in top flight Scottish Football.

Exactly, a good solid performance ( it could have been 7 ) despite all the attempts to undermine the squad by the Media morons, and the Club were absolutely right to thank the fans who did turn out.

The SMSMedia constantly quote the belt-fed crap from Walter Smith the Second, and always shows him in a positive light, but constantly denigrate RD. They have got their beloved Gers back and they cant contain their excitement .

The sad bit is we all fall for it, its now a given, its not if, but when Ronnie goes.

I hope we thump the scum and give Skid-Mark Warbie a lesson in respect.

Craig Gordon needs some recognition for those two reflex saves.

Last paragraph seemed like a Dig at the people who refused to have the pish ripped out of them any more

Charging a high price, on a national holiday, for a match that could be watched for free on tv at a particularly unfriendly time and day is not a bullshit excuse... it's completely indicative of what's wrong with our game right now. They're abusing the * outta the fans...

Our poor play and shortcomings only seek to compound the underlying issue, not explain it away. The club are right to point out that it's bullshit!

Seems more like a dig at the fans who didn't go, rather than a thank you to the ones that did.

Eh, as someone who was at the game on Sunday, I appreciated it.

What's wrong with what they've said? Calling the supporters who bothered to go faithful? what's wrong with that? :39:
