Great seeing Kyogo with Idah after he scored.

Poor first half, much improved second half. The Calvary saved us today.

Too many changes against a team in excellent form. One or two changes but certainly not eight. Luckily enough we got out of the hole we dug ourselves in through much needed substitutions and players such as Welsh ans Palma just ain't good enough

Valle probably needs someone who can track back in front of him. Trusty needs to build a partnership.
With regards to Palma, I do think he's a good player, just not suited to us. Probably should have tried to sell in the summer, maybe will in January.

Game went now I thought it would after seeing the team. Far too many changes but it did give plenty a rest today which was good and we always had the subs sitting there waiting to come on if needed.

Falkirk are no mugs and rarely have lost a game in recent times. They’d probably batter half the the top flight atm.

Kuhn however was excellent when he came on. Idah took the goals well and Bernardo was pretty decent as usual.

Falkirk may be a divison below us but changing our entire back 4 is always a risk when some of them are arguably coming in from the cold.

Isolated and just looking at this game, I'm more than happy to give someone like Trusty way more game time

I reckon if Valle had the presence of Engels and Maeda covering the left side he'd have looked an entirely different player as well

Relieved to be through, and in the end we actually spanked them.
Brendan will have learned a lot about the depth of the squad from this game.
The Aberdeen game will be a tough nut, but with normal service resumed, I would expect us to get through to the Final.

Agreed with that. Very good use of subs and great to see a bench filled with quality. Main thing is we're in the semis.

    Love you too, my khing.

With today's performance in the first half Falkirk could've easily knocked the huns out had they played each other

They're fine, if they come in to cover, but all switched at once is a stretch too far... If anything it speaks to the depth we have that we can change our 2/3rds of the team, and they'd probably be ok with a little experience together...

    Well that was interesting!

8 changes against against any team is too much.

Fair play to Falkirk, they really went for it and for a wee moment my * was twitching like a rabbits nose.

The guy Valle was on a hiding to nothing with a disinterested Hatate and a hopeless Palma in front of him. He had no cover and should not be judged on his first outing.

A complete new defence against pacy attackers was a difficult watch to say the least, but Falkirk deserve all the plaudits for their play. I’d still be saying this if we had lost. For a wee while I genuinely was worried. I suppose the difference now since the Kilmarnock defeat last season in The League Cup is the subs bench.

A great game for Idah to get more match sharpness and get goals. I also owe an apology to Kuhn. I called him a dud last season, but he’s really turning it on.

Hatate was off it and McGregor had a quiet game.

Palma is finished. His stats from last season say he is a player. I really thought he was going to be special, but he really does nothing to help the team dynamic. Taxi!

Is it fair to say that Falkirk have given us the biggest scare so far this season?

Anyway I understand it’s the midnight paddock raiders in the Semi? At least we get to suss them out in the league before said Semi?

Motherwell to * the bed against Sevco in the other.

Job done today I suppose. Well done Kuhn and give Valle another shot with the right players beside him.

Absolute shocker for Palma and Welsh for me, slow and hesitant almost every time they were on the ball. Bernardo, Engels and Kuhn getting the plaudits from me for today.

Why was the rear of the standing section so sparsely populated today?

It seemed to be the only part of the ground which wasn’t busy.
