FairPla to falkirk. Gave us a really tough game and played some good football. Looking forward to seeing them in the premiership next season

Still dont understand what Nawrocki has done wrong in training. Far more assured than Welsh.

Granted we were in the ascendency, but his passing was safe, couple of good defensive headers, good movement making himself available.

    Very confused.

Surely Daizen is the fastest man at the club? Knew Kuhn was rapid but always thought Maeda was the quickest of the two.

Job done in the end but we learned quite a lot about the squad depth still needing work.

We need 2x wingers and another CB in January. Valle and Trusty will need time. The former though looks like he may struggle defensively but can't be written off on 60 mins.

    Good win in the end.

Had the potential to go wrong after the first half.

No narrative has been twisted. I wanted players rested and they were. The team put out should've been enough but they weren't.

Does that mean we should've started with a stronger xi? Probably. However, we didn't and our top players got a good rest for it, which I wanted. They were needed to bail us out but they'd probably had featured at some point off the bench regardless.

Palma and Welsh aren't even decent backups after that showing, agreed.

Have you have seen me and Rodgers in the same room?

Valle looks weak. Needs to bulk up, pronto.

That first half team should have been good enough. * knows they're on a bigger wage at a bigger club. It just goes to show who we need to ship out. It was a bit risky playing two new boys as well. Surely would have been better to bring them on as subs later. I never want to see Welsh or Palma again. I would give the new lads some slack as this was always going to be a competitive game.

Agree, but also this is the first start for Trusty and Valle. Both will integrate very well I reckon. Also Yang looks as though he's taken a lot on board from BR

Falkirk is the first team to actually test us so far this season, they pressure better than majority of Premiership teams just lacked quality at times.

Think that would of gave BR a good idea who can be trusted going forward and who can’t.

They probably have, but then again, I would argue that it was quite a weakened lineup with several players starting who have hardly played any football, and the cohesion clearly wasn't 100%. I think the other teams have faced a much better Celtic team. Could have been a bit of a cricket score had we started with the team that finished the game.

A few thoughts in no particular order...

Good on Falkirk. Brilliant effort and a fun change to see teams have a go at celtic park. I hope they get promoted.

Welsh and Palma are nowhere near good enough. Shouldn't be playing ahead of Rocki and Yang. Hope they don't need to play again.

New faces were disappointing but get a pass.

Kuhn is going to be immense this season. He changed the game.

The drop off between our first 11 and the respective back ups is vast. Needs improved.
