Hopefully Rodgers goes into the Falkirk dressing room and praises them for their effort and style of play as they deserve it.

Against anyone else in the league outside us and maybe the sheep, they’d be through to the next round.

 

Forrest is a player you can bring on later in games. Ralston is usually solid enough as back up.

The other two can gtf

Thank * for that, after that first half. The drop off from Kuhn to Forrest is massive now.

 

Delighted with that result.

 

Though Nawrocki looked sharp on the ball there. Hopefully he kicks on.

Trusty didn’t have a bad game, good to get 90 mins. A few slack passes but think every player did.

Valle looked nervous. Need to see more of him tbh.

 

Welsh really should be 5th choice cb . Palma needs upgraded as well . Glad Rodgers started them , have to see what they can do , which isn’t much .

 

Kuhn off the bench, admittedly against a tiring oppositon that had already given everything they had, but he comes on and 2 assists and 2 goals. Been brilliant start to the season for him.

Overall though, the 5-2 scoreline not exactly a fair reflection of the game. Falkirk were better than that suggests.

Don't try and twist your own narrative now, nice try lol. We made too many changes to the team and struggled for large spells of that game. Kuhn turned that game on its head. Players like Palma and Welsh have showed they aren't up to making the grade here. They're not viable back-up options.
