Poor performance and rode our luck at times. Grinding out results is probably still acceptable at the moment but post-Christmas the expectation has to be that we, more often than not, will comfortably beat teams which isn't happening at the moment.

Good three points, our passing is awful at times though.

Still waiting for it to completely "click"

Hopefully Forrest can stay fit, he brings so much to the team.

7 games unbeaten now I think, so we getting the results, but the performances can be better :celt_2:

    The score was irrelevant.

    Hate not playing with Broony.

Good 3 points. Dragged out a win today, that's entirely acceptable.

Wee Izzy was immense defensively by far man of the match for me.

Working all day so just catching up. Reading through the posts it reads like we struggled to overcome Dundee. I take it Broony wasn't playing to day due to suspension? Did we miss him ? We always seem to struggle when he is not playing. How did young Forrest play?......Maybe we struggled due to players being away on Internationals. Still its another 3 points.

Forrest played well, defenders are * scared of his pace.

Kayal really should be playing when Brown is unavailable. Mulgrew and Johansen are a useless pairing together in that role. Commons looked rotten as well, expects everything on a plate, greedy, worst work rate possible for a professional footballer, everything is always someone elses fault.

Poor game overall but a wins a win. Hartley doing a very decent job with a very limited group of players.

Forrest was a big plus. Very dangerous looking.

Kayal immediately looked the best midfielder today when he came on, and not for the first time this season either. Absolutely mystifying why he doesn't get more game time. Tenacious, penetrating, a little bit over exuberant at times but thats to be expected when trying to impress.

Seems to have all the tools to be a big favourite of Ronny and what he is trying to achieve.

If he keeps plugging away I'm sure he will get his chance.

I honestly think Deila is being swayed in his selection at times... whether it's from the media or fans I don't know. Been a lot of talk regarding Commons, he just isn't suited to this pressing style Ronnie wants, everyone can see it. Kayal is the one losing out in the situation, and as you say, when you have 20 minutes or however long, you are going to try too hard to impress which will result in some over eager tackling with a player of his type.

Commons isn't match fit, which is more vital than ever with our current system, and was one of the first ones to really get the way we press now, e.g. that goal he made for Stokes at (I think) St Johnstone.

I'm sure he said this is the final year of his contract preseason and that i think is the reason he isn't being played and seems to be absolutely a last resort for ronnie, its a shame for him and us as he is due to be getting more game time than he is

This. Kayal came on and looked excellent, brought pace, energy and direction into the team right away. Mulgrew was very complacent today, Johansen can't play in a two man midfield, I don't know why Kayal didn't start today. I feel sorry for him because he has actually played well in his appearances this season.

Thought we did enough without being great, workmanlike with flashes of brilliance.

    Ambrose was hilariously bad.

I think thats a bit harsh about his passing. Sure he isn't going to be pinging 50 yard balls onto a 5 pence piece but he has quick feet and drives forward playing quick one twos.

His shooting I completely agree with. Obviously.

    * it's bad. :smiley-laughing002:

Yep, I agree. Should have been Beram for Broony and keep the rest of the team the way it was.

    Johansen is wasted further back.

didnt even look like johansen was playing he was that ineffectual, i reckon we would have been 100% better had kayal played instead of commons and johansen played where he has been for a while now
