Of course it is, I'm pointing out to dj that i don't think it's gonna change how our board approach things next season just because of a half empty stadium..

It should but i can't see any drastic changes happening..

 

I wouldn't mind being in the Europa League had we gone out having done all we could. Had we brought in a striker that everyone and their dog could see we needed, and exited the Champions League, I would have been disappointed of course, but at least we would have shown some level of ambition to try and get into the CL group stages. It was the total lack of ambition though that made up my mind for me in regards to forking out more money for the EL package.

 

Maybe it will be good for our cooefficient but we've missed out on tens of millions of pounds not being in the CL. It we aren't spending money with cl revenue, imagine the cutbacks we might face without it. It's definitely not good in my opinion.

 

This is going to be a exciting campaign,really hope for a win tomorrow to put us in pole position for the last 32.

Going by some of scores in last nights champions league we might see teams like Man City and Possibily Arsenal (if they don't win tonight) in the last 32 which would make it incredibly exciting.

 

People saying the upper is shut seen somebody on Twitter selling a ticket so that's a load of bull

 

Upper tier is shut.

People forget that the bottom tiers come to 37k and going by the ticket thing online I'd say there close to 30k been sold which is pretty decent for a Europa league match.

 

I know no-one wants to see it but it's the best thing to shut the upper. If it wasn't for all the season ticket holders I'm sure the club would shut the whole upper tiers all season.

37k "full" houses every week with the GB there and good atmosphere with everyone grouped together is far, far better than sporadic pockets of fans dotted around everywhere and even more sporadic pockets of noise.

We won't properly sell out a game until/unless we play sevco in a cup game or get in the CL group stage next year, it's as simple as that.

 

I'm not comparing it to the Champions League. I'm comparing it to no Europe whatsoever.

 

I would be more inclined to pay to watch this if I didn't think we were gonna play the exact same * we have the Las few weeks and we'll end up getting humped.

You cannot buy upper tier tickets for this game online, so this guy on Twitter could be a fraud or mistaken.

 

Go on and try to buy a ticket online, top tier is closed so * knows how someone has an upper tier ticket, they shifted everyone down the bottom tier a while ago.
