That was pretty much my take on it as well. A lot of other season ticket holders must have felt likewise, as the top tie is closed for the games. I felt we were short changed by the board, so I simply wasn't forking out more for this.

 

Bbb i take it is that lot blue bad boys or something, seen them on our European aways a few times..

 

Bad blue boys mate but Aye the earliest I have seen them following us in Europe was in Turin 2001 maybe goes earlier than that but we played them as "Croatia Zagreb" in 98 or 99 so maybe it did happen after that

But as the poster says they have been turning up to futsul matches they are protesting against the club I'm not sure if there protest a good few years ago was for the same thing because I'm sure they returned. I'm not sure if it was two different protests maybe he can clear that up because if they haven't returned to the stadium it's been going for a good few years

Anyone know if they're going to open the upper tiers for this?

Think it was in the ground we first saw them as we were in a secluded cafe boozing as the pubs were all shut before our convoy..

Seen them in Europe again.might have been teplice and Lyon, also a daft qpr friendly..

Its hypocritical to give that reason as to not go to group games than go to the knockouts if he would go to them.

I won't be at any Europa League games, simple as that. I made that decision after Maribor at home. I actually hoped others would do likewise, and send a message to the board. Nearly everyone was in agreement after Maribor that the board short changed the fans, that hasn't changed, regardless of what spin Peter Lawwell puts on it.

No it's not, not when he's already stated why and that hed been to our qualifiers and chose not to spend more on a europa package when the board weren't spending to back the team..

He said he won't go to any Europa League game fair play, but there will be people that will sit at home and watch bt sport and hopefully watch us go through than when last 32 tickets are released they will be canping outside for the general sale. Now can you not see that people like them ennoy me who will go to the group games if I can make it.

to be fair i agree with 99% of the things he says

 

it is an individuals decision which matches they go to and which they dont. yes it would be good if the stadium was sold out for all the matches but if people dont want to spend their money going to these games then fair enough you cant force somebody to buy tickets

 

Hes constant defending of stokes is the only thing of note that I disagree on him with.

 

i think stokes is good if played in the correct position and it isnt fair to judge him on playing the lone striker role because it isnt where he is at his best but thats for another thread

I don't rate him highly but he's done plenty good here and gets a raw deal 'at times'..

 

Fair enough dont to go these games just dont be crying when you camp out and dont get a ticket for the big games. (not directing that at you)
