Looking at their team, it's actually got quite a few recognisable names in it.

If we get a win, it would be a great result.

mcgregor not good enough? you are * clueless. Mcgregor has the ability and footballing brain to go a long way in the game. People don't graduate from the academy and start every game for the first team by accident . He has had a few nearly performances lately where some of the shots have missed but he has still assisted goals and been very good on the ball; people getting on his back because his form has dipped since july/august. Big deal , it happens to all players but the boy is still very important for this celtic team. I do not care what anyone says he looks our most likely to create something in almost all games .

Big game for Virgil Van Dijk . Yes you are our best player and can play in the SPL in your slippers but tonight you will be up against a very good forward and i would like to see you organise that defence and get a clean sheet. Something you haven't done against a good attacking opposition for a long time . Prove that you are too good to be here .

He is a greedy player so many time he can look for the pass but looks to shoot. After a few good games players are now sussing him out - he doesn't have the pace down the line to beat a man so now players close him out when he comes inside and loses possession a lot. He shouldn't be playing every game he should be in and out to keep focused at the moment he looks stagnated and caught out in games. If we had a fit James Forrest we would be ten times more dangerous.

I think it'll be an evenly matched game with plenty chances, probably goals too. Will be a good watch, I'm sure. Looking forward to it. Wish I was going right enough..new job, no pay as yet tho

    Prediction - 3-2 win

He has beaten a fair few players down the wing this season and created 3 direct assists from wide areas. I actually think he looks at his best on the wing.

To say he "loses possession alot " is * laughable . That is one thing he doesn't do . 7 times out of ten he plays the easy ball and keeps the game moving . My one criticism of him is that he plays the simple abll too often but he certainly does not give the ball away . I can think of only a couple of times this season in fact.

    * me he is a young player and a consistent run of games is what helps you improve . Chopping and dropping knocks confidence and messes with players heads. He gives 100 percent every game his attitude is spot on and he is still palying well enough to start games. All this chopping and changing is a load of modern bullshit. MON knew the players he liked and played them whenever possible , because he knew that is what got consistency and built relationships and understanding on the park .

This game is ours to win, we got a decent enough result with the draw in the last fixture away from home against a team that is probably favorite to top the group given their attacking quality.

Tonight I think it will be more of the same, nervy, unbearable, but will grind out a win to really put us in a comfy(ish) position in the early stages of the group.

We are due a fluke winning result, when was the last time we rolled a team over 3 or 4 nil in Europe? although I also said this before the Maribor home game :fear:

The amount of games we play in Europe every now and again surely we must be due to just skelp a team out the blue and think "*, that turned out much easier than I expected" other wee European teams do it all the time like Salzburg skelping Ajax last season etc yet we never seem to manage it. Maybe we use up all our flukey results by beating Man U, Barca, AC Milan etc?

but this isn't the 19th century football club that's main aim is to help the refugees.its a 21st century football club that has winning ganes as its main aim. I support the later thats the club I grew up supporting a football club with a good history with charity not a charity with a football club that some people still think we are.
I support the club and if it means supporting a person who might not be seen as player fit to play for us by some of the fanbase so be it. If he helps us win I dont care.
He hasnt killed a man ffs he might have a said some racist things but the people who have judged him to be not fit of the jersey because of his views are the same people who sing songs deemed by the law to be sectarian.

Ugh really nervous for this, a win will put us in a real good position to go on and advance, whereas a loss doesn't bear thinking of.
No doubt it will be a close game, with Gordon making some special saves, but I believe we have enough to go out and win. 3-2
