    Alkmaar have a goal dissalowed.. Handball..

    Samaras scores.. 1-0 Celtic.. Ball into the box (corner I think) and Thompson heads it , the keeper saves and the ball breaks out to Sammy and he sidefoots it into the corner..

    mccourts overrated so so so much, the guy lasts 15 minutes max, rarely shows his brilliant moments, never passes..

    where as samaras is a player who on form is unplayable and very effective and has a good scoring record for celtic and is quicker, stronger (which is worrying) and a better finisher than mccourt, he'll also be at the world cup this year.

    simples, if mccourt wasn't irish nobody would give a * about him mate!

    i've never been one of the stereotypical pro-irish celtic fans myself..

    i prefer the atheist pro gordon strachan samaras is a good player approach :icon_mrgreen:

    I couldn't give a * where he came from.

    Samaras is like graveson, if he perprma it's for 15mins then he just wonders around luke a * numpty.

    First half had it's moments.. We must have had around 8 corners in the half..
    An early shoulder charge on McGinn could have been a penalty but you never see those given , but definately a foul in my opinion..

    Shots from Ki and McGowan were poor early on.. Alkmaar are patchy.. Look a bit similar to us in their passing is decent and then their attack breaks down with two players running into each other..

    Both Sammy's goal and Alkmaars were good finishes..

    I wouldn't.

    I'd rather have an injured McCourt start over samaras.

    May aswell start with 10 men than start with that *.
