I'd go a 433. Actually I'd go with anything as long as it's not a 451.

I don't think we do ourselves justice when we are defensive and yeah ok Madrid are a really good team but so are we (imo) and we should always play to our strength.

My prediction..

Play defensively we may scrap a draw which isn't good enough (imo) or we play more openly with the same formation we've used the past 3 games and we win 3-1 or there about.

 

Aye reyes is pish stop the crosses falcao is lethal in the air diego is their main threat

 

First goal crucial.

 

3-1 to us.

 

Take Diego out of the game and Atletico are beatable.

I actually think so too. Not quite 3-0, but maybe a 2-0 or 3-1.

 

How many are going up for this game then ? Hope its a good atmosphere, and of course a good result! Think the two go hand in hand!

 

Managed to talk the auld man into going to this, I can see this game being a cracker.

The atmosphere is guaranteed to be electric.

 

Paddy needs to come off the bench asap after the first half if we play Samaras and we aren't breaking through and things arent clicking up front. Playing him in the last 10-20 minutes of the game isn't going to accomplish anything.

 

That's a (very rough) thing showing how many tickets have been sold so far that I put together on paint. So far from full - probably because of the 6pm K.O but the atmosphere should be great anyway. I've been looking forward to this for ages.

 

Cant wait for this hopefully a great atmosphere and with this weather hoepfully the spanish are put off 2-0 :icon_mrgreen:

Except the red top level, I assume they are red because they are not selling them because they haven't sold all the bottom

 

Yeah, red = sold out (or in the case of the upper tier they're just not selling them), orange = limited availability, and green = seats readily available.

 

I know many don't like or rate him, but I think Ki should start this match. He will keep composure and and open them up with smart passes and they seem to play a very quick attacking style and would be frustrated with his play break down and good passing ability.

Wanyama should move to CB and Sammy should have the left wing cutting in to AMC role.

But I am going for a 3-1 Celtic

 

Not selling the top tier? Thats * man. stadium will be empty

 

Obviously season ticket holders will have had the option to purchase their seats for the the game, so there will be some people seated in the upper tier. Just not that many. Probably similar numbers to the Rennes game.

 

Always hate seeing empty seats at CP, especially at European games.

They are struggling but are still a very dangerous side with lots of quality.

We should go at the straight away and try and get the crowd going. Instead of starting slow like we usually do.
