I think that may have been something to do with it. It's unfortunate though because it makes squad rotation even less likely in the future.

I see your point and you've made a persuasive argument but I think it's bad luck more than anything - if Lassad had pulled away and nothing had come of that situation, we wouldn't even be focusing on the incident. Lassad isn't wall material, fair enough - in future he shouldn't be in any.

    Yep, you're right.

I don't think we'll be seeing Lassad in any other walls any time soon.

I was defending Lassad from the perspective of his performance the entire match, not for being - as I myself described it - "wimpish" in the wall.

Lassad was unlucky. Shouldn't have been in the wall in the first place if he can't take a smack.

I don't think Lennon will repeat that team line up for the replay, he's learned his lesson!
I live in Arbroath and see them play regularly. They are not so good at home and I can see us winning comfortably in the return tie. 3 or 4 nil. Gayfield however, is bitterly cold and windy all year round, pitch a bit sandy and heavy too. Lennon must not be complacent and allow Arbroath to break. All out quick attack from the whistle. Their heads will go down for sure.
