3 very hard won points, but 3 points none the less. :50:

obviously delighted with charlie bhoy saving us again but the goal we conceded was a joke, though what else is new?

though good to see us toughing these kind of games out

concerned about hooper though; does not look sharp at all :54:

Yeh. We've obviously not been great this season. If that means we have to grind out results then so be it.

looking at the game, and from a home game at that, paddy coming on was a better spell for the team, kayal is not going to offer us much, i think his
play brings cards, he does nothing, in the attacking sense, he lacks any foot work, might brake some play up, but any player in I would expect to do that in that position, i am looking for more from that position more 1-2 link up, type of a player there, midfield are not skillful enough for me paddy and Forrest are fine in both wings but we need 2 players in there that can go in direct with stokes and Hooper to help keep the pressure on any team we meet could that guy be mulgrew, and sammy maybe, as of Ki and kayal are not wanting to drive into the box with or without the ball, and to me that it lets teams of from applying serious pressure so i would try across the park would be paddy mulgrew sammy and forrest, would move ledley to take up mulgrews place

3 points achieved, so that is good. Once again though, the 'team' looked as though they had just met each other (again!!). Midfield fell out of it for the first 15 minutes of the second half which allowed Aberdeen to get forward more.
Usual desperate defending at their goal, 2 inept 'tackles' from Joe L and Wanyanama to let the player through and James Forrest looked knackered!

I watched Paddy and Mark W 'warming up' at half time. They did not look like happy bhoys, just going through the motions, wee bit of keepy up between them and then standing back to watch the 'fans' take the 10 second challenge!!! Very unprofessional, especially when you looked over at the Abn subs going through their paces, as a team. Not impressed!

Besides that I am very happy with the 3 points and the Charlie song!!!

A win is a win at the end of the day but that one today certainly doesn't inspire any confidence in this team at all.

That goal we conceded was an absolute joke considering about 4 of our players had the chance to stick a foot in and yet held back.

Pleased with the win obviously but the overall picture changes not a jot.

I think the team will only get better with better management tactics.
They are hard working players but seem to be all over the place due to either not understanding tactics given or frustrated trying to play the ineffectual tactics and/or strategy of the present management.

    Can't disagree with that.

We are a shaddow of the team which finished last season and that wasn't good enough.

Wanyama was poor in midfield today and I get the impression he has worse in him. Hooper is out of form and lacking confidence. Aberdeen's goal sums up our season so far, half hearted, hesitant, and well short of what's required.

Three points are welcome but I'm very worried for our chances of success and worried for the managers job. I think he could be one defeat from the sack, or wakling. It goes through my mind every game now that this game could be it.

    Our Team

As much as I would love to see Lennon doing well, i fear that our team are going backwards. We take one step forward and four steps back, considering the time the current management team has had, we should hope to see, at least a modicum of improvement from last year.

From what I can see, we seem to be getting worse, there are some sections of our fans happy with the result today, fair enough, a win is a win, but our performance was shocking.

I wish somebody would ask why did we pay over 2 million for a striker who never gets a game, (we already have samaras for that role) Hooper, it would seem can do no wrong. I can't see this team bringing back the league flag to paradise.

    Oh he plays left mid,
    And he plays left back,
    He's a centre half,
    And he does not slack,
He's the prodigal son, and he hates the Huns!
    He Charlie mulgrew,
    He's Charlie mulgrew,
    Oooohhhhh ooohhhhhh!!!

We got the 3 points but tbh at times we look an empty shell of a team.
