We'll probably lose 2-1 then beat them 1-0 over there and go out on away goals

Can’t see anything but a loss unfortunately. If this were last season I’d fancy us but we’ve been awful for a lot of this season and Zenit are a good side.

We need Forrest to recreate that performance against Bayern at home. Got a feeling Brendan might go back to a back 3 and drop Sinclair for Edouard or Rogic. Can't believe we haven't went back to that front 2 since the Hearts game.

    I'd go wae this

Musonda won’t be staring this one I’d say, Brendan will go for the tried and trusted

That team you selected above would get hammered. We are NOT playing Albion Rovers on Thursday night

    I reckon it'll be

    De Vries

    Lustig
    Ajer
    Simunovic
    Tierney

    Broony
    Ntcham
    McGregor

    Forrest
    Dembele
    Sinclair

    I'm 100% certain that'll be the starting 11..

I'm usually confident, sometimes blinkeredly but am I now going in to this? Not one bit..

Can see that being the starting 11 as well.

Lustig, Jozo, McGregor, Sinclair and Dembele all horribly out of form. Worrying.

Im always optimistic going into Europe against any team but think were going to get our * given to us on a plate. Hope the team will surprise me and we somehow get through.

Yep. Can't remember going in to a European game with this little optimism out with the elite side's....and even then I usually still felt like we could pump the best..

I really don't have anything that makes me think we'll come through this at all..

That seems to be the general consensus looking around and speaking about it to anyone..

Aye as bad as it may sound I've sort of written off these games already. I'll be amazed if we go through.

The fact that Zenit were the top scorers during the group stage, and our defence is a shambles...

I said in the thread recently that getting by these would be a big achievement and be bigger than winning the treble with the double wrapped up already..

If we make it by these it'll be huge and such a massive confidence booster..

But in all seriousness, can't see us doing anything. We have a keeper that I have yet to see make a single save in a competitive game, honestly one of the worst keepers I've ever seen. Kicking is * woeful aswell which is ironic given the reason he was brought in. Our defence is an absolute shambles aswell - the best two being two 20 year olds who havent shown anything much in Europe. Sinclair and Dembele have been * recently, Rogic Armstrong Griffiths Roberts all out/just returning... Eboue still not proven, Lustig has lost basically everything he once had, so we're basically relying on James Forrest and maybe an explosion onto the scene from Musonda to get anything from this game.

    I'll go for 4-0 Celtic.
