Great display from our whole team tonight. Great set up from Brendan as well.
In terms of scottish football, appointing a washed up alky hun as national manager is hardly a step forwards.

I'm actually a bit disappointed we only won 1-0 there. We played well enough to win by more and Zenit were there for the taking. Felt we should have pushed on for a second rather than getting cagey and appearing to settle for the 1-0 win.

Best performance for a while though which was good to see. Glad that Brendan picked a more cautious/stable team tonight. It worked well and was the right thing to do.

 

Brown, Eboue, Ntcham is a powerhouse midfield that looks like a winner in Europe. Some performance from Mcregor and Dembele aswell. It's going to be an intresting game over in Poland.

Honestly, 1-0 is better than a 3-1 would've been. We needed that belief that we can defend well.

glad we got a goal. ajer is going places hope he stays a long time, good to see simunovic have a good night hopefully gives him confidence over the next few games to create a partnership with ajer.
kouassi brown and ntcham looked great tonight. I thought forrest would have came off for musonda or sinky. it seems in games lately we havent been pressing as much as usual and we did it tonight which shows what we are capable of.

I’d of snapped your hand off if I was offered 1-0 before the game. But I’m a little disappointed that’s all it was. We really could of ended the tie tonight.

Great team performance though, with perfect tactics from the gaffer.

I don’t think we’ve ever played that formation before, but it worked perfectly.

That’ll bring the belief back into the team and I can’t wait for next week.

 

Just heard before the game aswell, Alex McLeish is the new Scotland manager. Along with his drug n drink problem the * hud a few strokes too many, it also looks as if he's in the early stages of dementia.
