I think we should go a flat defensive 3 midfield to protect defense.

    Tierney ajer jozo lustig
    Eboue brown ntcham
Instead of 3 hear further forward.

    Brown ntcham
    Musonda today

Eboue brown ntcham 3 in middle last week, only they played more central rather than dm
    .

Only PSG have ‘horsed’ us at home this season..

CL Qualification is our goal.. finishing 3rd as the 4th seeded team has surpassed expectations.. the performances have been disappointing but we have turned up as we are where we are..

It’s peoples prerogative if they want to pay the cash, maybe it is a bit overpriced. But this isn’t PSG, Barca, City or Munich we’re playing, it will be closer than people think.

We need to play much better than we have been, but we have a chance.

We're long over due a big result at home in Europe.

I also said that before the Anderlecht game so this has to be it...

Seriously not looking forward to this.

Have pretty much zero confidence in our defence at the moment.

Fairly certain we’ll draw or lose at home and win away.

We’re just not streetwise enough in Europe, our passing and defending is largely shocking and our two best strikers are either injured or playing like they’re covered in treacle.
Meanwhile they have quality players on 100 grand a week.

Think we'll get beat comfortably at home and get a draw over there.

Aye, I’m of the same opinion.

We’re * in Europe, cannae pass or defend worth a *, our strikers are covered in treacle apparently but we’ll beat Zenit away.

    Sounds legit.

Call it a hunch or whatever synonym your clearly superior mind can conjure, but that’s my view. Bizarre times when I’m more confident of Celtic away in Europe.

Hard to pick a team, id probably go with that, 0-0 would be a good result so we need to protect a clean sheet more than anything. With Lustig and Tierney more like a back 5 it should keep us well protected and free up Forrest and Sinclair to not need to worry about defending too much.

If we are going to play 4-2-3-1 or use Forrest as the wide right guy then i'd probably go for Eboue over McGregor or Musonda.

No but I expected more than 5 defeats out of 6 in the group stages.

The only realistic gripe you have there is the home defeat to Anderlecht and the home spanking by PSG which would have happened to 90%+ of European teams that night.

The Bayern game was bittersweet, I'm confident if we don't concede right after we scored we'd have taken something. Beating Anderlecht was good, but aye, I expected a wee bit more.
