Been beat of Villa (H), Barca (A), Inter (H), Shakhtar (A/neutral), Atalanta (H), Stuttgart (A). Pretty tough draw tbh but they’ve conceded 5 or more in 3 of the games and also got scudded in the game against Villa.

There’s no way it’ll be an easy game and I don’t expect it to be but if we want to be taken at all seriously at this level these are the games which we have to be taking care of.

 

That's exactly what I mean. That's a * of a draw. This is no gimme. On paper we should win, but this is real life. Hopefully the other team just * the bed and allow us to score 10

In this case thought would have to take their league form into account too which has been woeful to say the least. 4th bottom of the Swiss league almost 20 games in is brutal.

Im all for respecting the quality of the opposition, especially in Europe and I probably talked up Club Brugge more than most but the reality of it is this side aren’t as good as them, more than likely nowhere near it, but it’s up to us now to go and show that and all but earn a place in the knockouts. I’ve seen this show far too many times to be thinking we just need to turn up and win, but anything less than that will be an absolutely terrible result.

Can't wait for this. I'm also nervous because the circumstances are too ideal and can see us struggling based on past experience and us being us. To echo others, if we can't get the job done vs bottom team at home then we don't deserve to qualify.
Hopefully the place is bouncing and we get a convincing win and performance but any win will do really.

I think it was when we played Dinamo or as they were then Croatia Zagreb. We ended up signing one Marko Viduka after they put us out.

Boyd definitely saved one on the line that night and stopped a certain goal and got sent off.
