Not sure if you ever got to watch scotch & wry at new year but Jim reminds me of Rikki Fulton.. not just the looks but the gaffs.. He is class though..

Im planning to upload the whole game in a good screen size if I can find it available during the night so if anyone wants it check in the video section tomorrow morning/afternoon..

An impressive performance and a 2-0 lead to go to Utrecht is very comforting.

Is it really 7 years since we won the first leg in a European knock-out game? (away to Kaunus in 2003)

Zaluska's distribution is just one of the areas of his game that puts my heart in my mouth. He needs to wisen up with the kicking and throwing. Made a good save though from the header that was looping goalward.

At last we have a midfield where all the players can get from box to box rather than having one sitting and one forward, has improved the movement and flow of play throughtout the team 5 fold, dare i say it but selling McGeady may be the making of Lenny's new Celtic? Kayal was immense, what a snip at £1.3m, i dont think ive seen a through ball like that from the middle of the park since Stan was here when we scored the first, he was everywhere, every credit to Sammy, i thought he did really well but he was still having the fans on his back in the 2nd half whenever he lost the ball, he never hides though, he always shows for the next ball and when you listen to his interviews he's proud and passionate about being a Celtic player, well Bhoys, the faithful are proud of you all tonight!

Hard to accept this is almost a full new team, especialy with 2 bhoys making their debut. Hopefully at last we have found players worthy of wearing the Hoops.
And looks like someone has had a word in Browns ear.
The old Celtic feeling is back tonight, long may it continue.

worried tho because kayal went off with a groin problem, and knowing our luck like hooper it will prob keep him sidelined for a bit:38:praying its just a niggle, no need to play him v st mirren anyway

When you watch those 2 strikers? fortune and samaras it drives you nuts how many times did they not control the ball when given it or went for the wrong pass and were not on the same planet as Juarez or Kayal:50:

I thought Danny was immense at the back, so composed on the ball and utterly dominant in everything he did, a key addition to the team I think.
Kayal was a class act, a real genius on the ball and Juarez continues to impress with his heart, workrate, drive and goal threat.
I agree that Brown had a good game, he drove forward with purpose at times and broke up the play effectively but I have completely given up on him as a first team regular because he sticks out like a sore thumb on the ball....his control and passing are just nowhere near the standard of Kayal, Juarez and Ledley. For that reason, I hope to see Brown dropped and a 3-man midfield of ledley and Kayal with Juarez playing just in front, that is an exceptional looking midfield in my opinion. Cha was typically beastly down the right, can't wait to see Izaguirre in the team along with Hooiveld replacing the hopeless Loovens and Hooper still to come back, really excited about this team now, who would have thought Lenny would be so inventive and clever in the transfer market? He's signed some stars I think, very happy!

I agree that Samaras should have been subbed in the second half, not because he was crap or anything but because he started looking a bit tired and isolated. Would of been good if lennon put fortune up front maloney on the right and mccourt on the left for the last 15 - 20 minutes which would have rested Samaras for the weekend.
