If we need to go to Ibrox with a tall and aggressive midfield then somethings seriously wrong, the level of player in our midfield is more than enough to pick up 3 points.

Taylor and Hatate is not our best team, the cup final and today proved it.

They played like they usually do in Europe today, sadly so did we.

The 1st and 3rd goals today, yet again, all start with a Celtic player's individual mistake. Scales with a woeful pass direct to a sevconian inside our defensive third. McCowan(I think) stood dreaming waiting for a pass to reach him whilst the sevco player just runs past him to steal it. I will keep posting this until we finally stop doing it. STOP DOING THE OPPOSITIONS JOB FOR THEM!!! We start more attacks and create more chances for our opponents than they do themselves FFS. We've been like this for years too, it's not just started. How many more individual mistakes do we have to make until we realise?

Didn't though. Valle is far better than Taylor and Trusty is better than Scales. He has his favourites and today it cost us.

Did u see Valle when he came on. He was nightmare. There no proof trusty could handle pressure game today better than scales.
Rodgers went for experience players who played there before and won game for him.

If today showed anything it was our lack of squad depth for wingers

well Rodgers would disagree with that. They started 90 per cent off our games this season.

Harder to come in to a game that's already lost and the team has shat the bed already.

Play your best players. Doesn't matter if they've played there before or not.

Think you have to look at that game on its own rather than papering over it with the fact we are 11 points clear.

That was absolutely honking and if we are capable of performances like that, which we’ve shown multiple times we are, then something still needs to be looked at.

I like Scales but its time to build Trusty’s confidence and that partnership with CCV. There’s other glaring issues too.

Thats fine if Rodgers disagrees with it, it ended up being skudded 3-0 and should have been more, nothing wrong with calling the manager out in getting his team selection wrong which he clearly did today.

Honestly think anyone moaning about the cup final is an idiot. We had a relatively poor first half and went 1-0 down; then quickly equalised and took the lead in the second half because we made changes. That’s the exact type of response you want in a huge game.

Today is a world apart from that. We deserved nothing from the game.

Pains me to type this, but Clement set his team up superbly today.

Setting their attackers up to block any build up through Calmac, absolutely choked any of our usual build up, and therefore force us to try and play out through Scales.

As a result, we looked disjointed throughout the game, and frequently lost composure in possession and became desperate and bedraggled attempting any press.

Irrespective of the points difference, I can’t believe they have the mentality, nor sufficient squad depth to close the current gap. But, Rodgers needs to address this simple defensive tactical switch in future.

    Gutted!!

Never a good time to lose to that mob, but laws of averages your gonna lose eventually, and the fact we did lose was probably never a better time to happen, a reality check today

Our goal difference has just shifted by six and when was the last time we beat them by 3 goals? Our defence is horrendous and has been for a while. League is far from over, it's far too early to get complacent.
