As I said in another thread, that 7 - 0 will be felt very keenly indeed by both their players and fans. The fear is rising.

    We score first, it's over.

We score early, it could be carnage.

Just watched highlights of the Rangers game on the weekend 4-0 win. Aribo scored a great goal but surprised me, if not shocked me.

He did the sign of the cross with his left hand ! What's that all about ?

Gonna be interesting with both sets of fans in the stadium. They managed to score early against us last time so we shouldn't be writing them off. That said, they will play a huge game on Thursday in front of their own mob so could be some tired legs for them out there

Their goal came from terrible defending. JJ just wasn't at the races those first 10 minutes. If he settles quicker this time then we won't concede * goals again.

Every Game is different. As much as I think we're going to * them good, they can still punish us so best not to get to complacent!

100% but I wouldn't say hoping your players settle quickly is a sign of complacency. When the goal went in he was shaking his head because he knew he'd had a poor start. After that I don't recall much happening down his wing which says it all.

Thing is Hampden should be considered a more neutral setting...roughly split equally with fan attendance, the environment will be better than just 700 celts at shitpit.

That all coupled together with the likelihood they could push Braga to ET, players under pressure and fatigued, manager under pressure, Fans Raging... it's only a matter of time before we turn them over and ruin them.

In the last two meetings its been coming but if not for a good save here and there and some wayward shooting the scoreline has been kept modest.

I hate to suggest it as Jota is an absolute * baller...but to add balance to attack I'd start Maeda, Giakoumakis (assuming he's ok) and Abada.

Abada and his movement has been tearing their defence apart and he's been key to getting around them, but if not for McGregor he'd have likely been 5 goals in recent 2 games against them.

O'Riley, McGregor and Hatate in midfield.

Got no reason to doubt we don't spank them by 4 or 5.

I'd stick with the same team as last time. The only arguments you have that were mentioned already were O'Riley and Abada coming in for Rogic and Jota.

Win this and I get 17/18 vibes of them crumbling for the last league game like they did that year.

Interestingly, no Jack in that squad, Lundstrum off early with injury, who knows if they make it for the weekend or not but if they were missing then their squad/line up isn’t going to be dissimilar to the Celtic park doing we gave them.

I would be tempted to play ORiley from the start for the added energy in midfield. It’s harsh on Rogic right enough.

It sounds like the forward line will be Jota, Maeda and Abada if Kyogo isn’t ready for 90 minutes but there should still be a good threat from that forward line and Kyogo can come on to help finish the job.

I love Rogic but I'd be tempted to start O Riley, and bring Tam on maybe around 60 mins to finish them off.

Now that we have a bit of breathing space in the league I think the fans and players can really go and enjoy this. Absolutey no pressure on us and we can play with a bit of freedom.

Massive advantage with our league position and them playing on Thursday.. if they lose Thursday their entire season in on this game and us away in the league..

We have our foot on their throat.. keep pressing down..

I was of that thinking for the first game but big Tam showed his class and would be harsh to leave him out.

Either will be good enough though.

Right guys, a wee suggestion. While I was on holiday we gubbed the huns and destroyed St Johnstone so, this might be an omen so, if you want to get one of those crowd funding operations going in order to send me on another wee holiday, then feel free.:56:

Just picking up on what I've missed over the last two weeks and I see wee have that * Beaton in charge on Sunday. So hopefully, as well as the huns picking up some serious knocks on Thursday, he picks up some serious disease that would rule him out of the game but, then again, his replacement would be just as bad

They used to be about leg's in the middle and would smother Rogic under slippy after a game or two of him arriving..

Now they just simply don't have the leg's in there

    Jack is goosed
    Arfield is slower and pish
    Lundstram is painfully slow
    Davis has no leg's
    Kamara barely gets a game

We have more in the middle than them now and why it isn't a problem..

I think Rogic probably will get the nod. After a tough European game a few day's before, they'll find it tough picking him up in the pockets and trying to get the ball off him..

I'm not sure m8. I'm sure someone will be on in a minute to tell us. He's just another fecking cheating hun with a whistle so we are in between a rock and a hard place with either of them
