We're a better team, better players, better manager, better run club and so on, but as ever I'll take any win against these horrible *.

I'll always take any sort of win against them, but it'd be nice to lay down a marker.

Bar the cup final, we were comfortably the better team against them last season. the 1-0 at Ibrox was * easy, the two 2-1 victories were both * easy and we should have won the 3-3 draw at Ibrox comfortably, a bit of complacency caught us there.

Cup final was a lot closer but that was them at 100% and us at 50%, we were miles off it that day but even then it wasn't like they dominated, we were still the better team.

I'll still be delighted even if it's a 1-0 win with a last minute goal on Sunday, but I don't feel like we're going to get a better chance to pump them than this Sunday. Propper, Sterling and Balogun not fully fit, Yilmaz, Cortes and Raskin out injured.

    Into them Celtic.

Both teams on form we will win. Comfortably. If we are off it even a little they could fancy their chances. Losing MOR is a blow but we should still have enough. Captain Cal has been excellent and as long as our defence keeps tight I'm as confident as could be.

An innocent hun logs onto Talk Celtic. He sees the word 'orange'. A solitary tear rolls down his cheek. Another casualty in a senseless war. How long must we sing this song?

Excuse my apparent ignorance, but would you care to explain how either “orange” or “*” is sectarian?

    Thanks in advance.

Any chance to crowbar in one of my all time favourite Irish bands..Set in Belfast 1988..(Very different times) but a nice twangy acoustic violintastic songy.. all about trying to survive in Belfast when people were getting randomly murdered for no reason.

Have no doubt, by mid-afternoon on Sunday, they'll be once again reminded of their place... beneath us!

I had a good chuckle at the Scottish gossip on the bbc site saying Alan Hutton is wanting Clement to, and I quote, "rest" Tavernier for the game.

Just the thought of people flooding Tavernier's socials with pictures of Maeda for the next few days amuses me. Guy might never sleep again.

Hey there you have the flag of my country in your symbol, the country I live in and pay taxes to - the flag of which I am proud symbolises peace between the orange and the green!
Like * - Orange the word is not sectarian- but put the word * after it and it becomes a offensive sectarian slur - sectarianism sucks - people have died because of it - including my sixteen year old cousin - send me a pm and i will send you the details!
My only point was that it was with slight disappointment that I saw a thread title common in their forums where such titles are thrown about with abandon - on this forum it was always the more restrained hun/ sevco etc - this is first time I’ve seen it here - thats it!
I will not be bullied from my opinion - I have literally travelled all over the world in support of this club
Can we please get back to the football & support our club in potentially biggest week for years? Please?
    * the lot of you

    Respectfully, I completely disagree.

    * is a derogatory term aimed at Catholics in general.

I understand the historic relevance of the colour orange, as used in the Irish flag. “Orange” however, as used in the West of Scotland anyway, does not relate to the entirety of Protestants. Instead it relates to a section of Protestants closely tied to the orange order, an anti-catholic organisation.

In your opinion would calling members of the KKK organisation “KKK *” be undeserved and sectarian? The KKK is regarded as a Christian organisation, so by the same logic, you would consider it so.

Many Celtic fans and legends (Jock Stein for example) are Protestant. They’re not orange.

Again, I respect you have a pretty strong stance on this. Often I feel the troubles in Ireland can be almost trivialised when it comes to a football rivalry, but I think it’s important to highlight the difference between hatred towards an entire religion (sectarianism) and hatred towards an organisation which celebrate the deaths of a religious people (such as the orange lodge).

My Irish isn’t great, but I don’t mean to offend you, so hope that’s not the case.

    Aye, this.

Also, to reduce the 'Orange' term purely to religion is to simplify it. William of Orange's colonisation of Ireland used religion as a weapon, yes, but it was about imperialism, racism, land theft, etc. Much the same way, religion was used as a weapon in the colonisation of Africa, South America etc. But if you were to use a term for those armies or empires and add * it wouldn't be taken to be purely religious.
