This is exactly how it will pan out I suspect. We might see one or two of our new signings starting to counter their pace up front.

We need a big game from Kuhn, this will be his sternest test yet.

I can see the huns chucking 2 or 3 of their new superstars intae this one from the start....and the new Sevco guys getting completely blown away and overrun by us at Paradise. I am the most confident I've been for a while before a game against them and I really can't see how they beat us unless we're down a player a two.

They're all match fit so I can seen them all get some mins late on depending on scoreline

It would be very unfair to throw any new signings (other than Idah and Bernardo) into this from the start. I strongly suspect we will have to replace Taylor with Valle at some point if Taylor struggles for pace as much as I think he's going to. We might also see Trusty for Scales at some point, depending on which Liam Scales shows up; but given that he's basically playing for his place, I'm expecting the Scales of last autumn.

I'm expecting a close game; but home advantage probably makes us slight favourites and hopefully we end up on top.

Rodger’s better tell them that if they want in the CL teams they better play out of their skins tomorrow

Anyone see the Rice red earlier? Kicked the ball away about a foot. Guarantee we pick up yellows for that tomorrow.

In the Murray (ebt) years we went into these games with a sense of hope maybe a bit of dread but we are a bit more confident these days although I would be cautious because of the officials out in charge these are the guys that can stop us a couple of early yellow cards and it gives them the opportunity to give a second and reduce our numbers. I think we need to be a few goals ahead at half time as we seen to take the foot of the gas in the 2nd half a bit and allow teams to come on to us.A comfortable win will be great but a win is what we want so hopefully that's what we get

    I'll maybe be proved wrong.

I see GT starting nearly every CL game and all huns games, unless we've skooshed league and play him final game (or maybe less likely huns have strolled it)

If we cant beat that * at home...then it opens a lot of questions for the upcoming CL games.

This is when we flex our muscles and pull away from this mediocre team.

Not a chance GT is starting CL games for me. If he does he will be once again targetted by every team we play and if we drop points from the goals conceded as a result of this it will be completely Rodgers fault for playing him and poor management. We’ve brought in Valle to take his place for big games if we wanted a back up striker we couldve easily just used anderson

He’s off to a flyer this season so hopefully continues. What’s a guarantee though from him is his tracking back and work off the ball. Proper hard worker. Our attacking players will press them into a few mistakes I reckon.

Think scales will be fine mate, cerny might cause Taylor some problems though but I reckon maeda will help out a lot. I wouldn’t think this would be a great game to give a cb their debut if not needed tbh. One mistake that leads to a goal and everyone will have opinions made up on him after one game. Don’t think it will be as close as you think though. We’re better than them and better than what we were last season. Fit and firing Hatate, fit and firing Kuhn and big Kasper in goal. Mon the hoops

They have perpetuated this myth that they have outplayed us in all games last season and we have snuck victories ffs....... the games were even (at times ) at best for them .

We really weren't clicking for big chunks of last season and they still couldn't get a result against us, really we should have put up a couple of much more convincing scorelines against them, due a good skelping.

If they come out and leave space in behind Maeda, Kyogo and Kuhn will run riot.

The only way we don't win this is if we don't match their work rate and every player has a stinker, or the ref/var cheats even more blatantly than usual and sends one of our players off in the first few minutes for nothing.

If we at the very least match their effort, and I'd fully expect us to well exceed it, the rest should take care of itself as we have the better players and manager.
