    He definitely needs competition, I don't dispute that.

    He is a good player though, he gets a rough deal I think.

    I said I'd be happy with a 2-0 before the game but after that, very frustrated not to come away with more.

    Tie should be over in all honesty and it probably still will be barring a minor miracle for them. Finishing was a bit dissapointing though. Ciftci had a good few chances but looked rusty, understandably I suppose but should probably have buried the first one. Tried to pass it in.

    The whole penalty debacle was embarrassing. If Griffiths is going to greet about having to take it he should at least make sure he steps up and smashes it home. Commons should be our main pen taker. He's the only one who knows how to take one....smash it right down the feckin' middle.

    Anyway, good to keep the clean sheet but we need to take our chances better. Looking around the other results in the qualifiers tonight puts it into perspective a bit as well I suppose. Malmo, Zagreb, Quarabag and BATE all have to go away and do a job. Bit more comfortable for us, early goal would be ideal.

    I think it's a bit of both, sometimes he gets a raw deal but I also see him backed to the hilt when he's been rank rotten..

    I'm not his biggest fan these days, though I can see he still offers something to us..

    Aye he got better as the season went on last season but he was targeted by nearly every team as weak-link beginning of last season, I remember him get a Roastin at Dundee in the 1-1 draw.

    We've overplayed him and not helped him by having another LB. We have been crying out for one last three seasons.

    Well that Icelandic team cannot play like that in the second leg so that should hopefully open up a bit more space for us. Score just once over there and that should definitely be it. Sharpness is not quite there for us yet but it will come. It needs to for the next round.

    stand by the first post,which was by no stretch of the imagination "* embarrassing", 2-0 at home to fc stinking not good enough. get the tag right and as you say a reaction after the match. I remember beating real madrid 2-0 at home. second post was a * take their home ground holds about 2000 supporters. read the other post and put in into context.
