The result is all that matters obviously but ffs, we looked laboured.

Past 3 or 4 games we’ve looked utter *, literally every pass bounces off us, letting balls run out, skying shots over the bar, struggling to go by a man etc

Is it fatigue? Or a lull? Either way we need to get the finger out and start putting games to bed earlier and take the nerves out the game.

It looks like the pressure is affecting the players, since we’ve taken top of the league the team have looked frightened at points and not playing our same game. It was the same last night until we scored and then you noticed a bit of confidence back in our game.

The players need to thrive in that pressure.

I have just watched Sportscene as recorded it, so much praise for the way St Mirren defended. Do they not see that this is what is making our League a backwater league ? It's not fecking football, and we get to endure the same at the weekend against Livingston. Yes its up to us to open teams up but surley if you are a pro football player you would be * off having to play like that. These so called pundits praising a team with no intent to attack, 26% possesion and " defending resolute"

We improved once mcgregor was pushed forward, i think its important ange realises this.

Whether it be biton, ideguchi or maybe o’riley but someone other than calum needs to play the holding role.

    all are good
A couple of dangerously bad tackles, that go unpunished by the ref, can do that to you.

We have been poor since we came back from the break. We will see the free flowing, attacking football again but getting 3 points is all that matters atm.

Jax m8 need to disagree here , didn't think we wer laboured at all , passing was good , control was good ,only 2 abada touches wer poor ,we got to the bylines many times , or maybe u mean midfield not going past markers ,I agree that .
Shots over the bar , maeda was poor ,but I feel we played very well and only missing excitement is a striker running in on goal which is difficult wen teams don't come out .

Agree we have been poor but i was wondering is this all down to ourselves?

What i mean is,its getting to the time of the season where other teams are trying to avoid a relegation battle and when the play us they tend to sit back and hope for at least a draw and this makes things difficult for us and makes us look bad.

Where as ,early on in the season the same team may be a little less defensive and when we play them the games are more open and we play and look better.

mcgregor is great at organising our play and getting the ball moving quickly but i agree hes even better in the attacking third linking with the attackers

and bitton can indeed play the dm role but the problem is when hes running back towards his own goal hes not got the speed and isnt a strong tackler not that mcgregor is a strong tackler but he does get back quicker

id like to see ideguchi tried out and see oif he could play the dm role, theres a reason bitton hasnt been able to command a 1st team place on a regular basis at celtic whilst hes a good passer and a silky footballer he lacks strength speed and tigerish defensive qualities

I’d say there is a bit off that. They don’t call it the business end of the season for nothing. I also think that teams in the last few weeks have seen Bodo effectively nullifying any threats and have adopted their own approach in that regard.

This is it. There are more attributes to his game that suit an 8 to a 6.

From my sofa? Some people have to work you lazy *, I know all about fatigue but you get on with it. Nobodies saying Hatate is a bad player but you obviously blew so much smoke up his * after a couple of games you're clearly worried you're going to end up looking a bit silly if he doesn't start putting in performances. If you use the word 'we' I'm taking it you're referring to the army of online * talkers that you seem to be one of.

    Sorry, must have been fatigued.

However grammar/spelling police are the absolute dregs of the patter universe, but the shoe certainly fits.

    Didn’t say society. Said patter.

He’s doing it ironically because you did it to me. You did it because it’s all you’ve got.
