    I reckon Brown would be good at right back.

    He was good enough to play his entire career at pumas at rb

    as well as be the starting rb for Mexico up till the wc

    He's more than capable at that position if he's needed to play there

    He's not got the discipline or concentration to play right back in my opinion. Better off keeping him away from there lol

    Hopefully we win this by a fair few to go top and increase our goal difference. 4 - 0 Celtic will do me :50:

    Went to see St Mirren play Derry City in a friendly a couple of weeks back. Steven Kenny rested his entire 1st team, so it was basically Derrys youth team vs a strong St Mirren line up including McGowan. Finished 1-1 and man of the match was St Mirrens keeper. They were woeful. We should absolutely hammer them.

    Hooiveld
    Wilson

    Resting Kayal and Fortune.

    Would be happy with Twardzik/Misun/Mulgrew(yes!)/Hooiveld/Wilson at LB instead of Ledley. Given that it is a domestic game.

    As i would like to see Ledley in the middle.

    He is a good defensive player? I don't think so... he is a good ball winner, no question about that, but defensive... hmmmmm

    He doesn't hold up to his marks and as you have seen he likes to go to the front, so much he often "forgets" about his defensive tasks. I wouldn't trust him as a last man.... he needs someone to watch his back. If you ask him not to go to much to the front, then you are wasting his offensive skills (and he has proven himself as an important piece in Celtc's attack).

    Doesn't Celtic have another RB? :54:

    Well that is debatable... his worst performance in the WC was when he played that position. And he didn't play RB because he was the best RB in Pumas, Castro is WAY MUCH BETTER... he played there because it was playing there or not playing at all.

    Anyway it would be a waste.... he has given more in Celtic in 3 appearances as RDM than in Pumas in 2 years as RB....

    we do mate but there all injured, cha has a slight knock and should be back for the next game, hinkel is out for 9 months and wilson is still a couple of weeks away from being fit i think, other than juarez the only other option is young ritchie towell

    To be honest though. St Mirren don't play with much width so Juarez could be ok there. He is good going forward and winning the ball so that would help.

    I never said he was he was the best rb in the world
    I said he is a more than capable rb

    I agree on Castro being a better rb

    Bringing the argentina game up is pointless as nobody really played well for us

    Don't forget he also played his best game for the national team as a rb (Costa Rica away)

    I stand by what i said

    Juarez is a more than capable RB if there is a need for him to play there

    im sure if he plays itll be fine as its only for one game, and it should be a game where celtic dominate, so he'll be able to get forward alot

    We could play 3 at the back which would mean we wouldnt need Jaurez to do RB and he could play DM

    I feel we have started well with Juarez and Kayal in midfield, so I'd tend to value continuity there over any worries defensively. Mulgrew and Wilson are more than capable of dealing with the attacking threat of St Mirren.

    However I think Lenny will play at least one of our midfielders as a fullback - either Juarez or Ledley - cos we have an excess of talent in midfield, and he will want to keep them all involved.

    I'm feeling good, we have a lot of options. I'd be happy with:

    :zaluska:

    :wilson: :loovens: DANNY :mulgrew:

    :kayal:
    :juarez:......................:ledley:

    :mccourt:
    :fortune:......................:samaras:

    If we're having problems with the fullbacks it could be possible that Lenny could try a 3-5-2 for this game, think if there's anybody to try it against it's St. Mirren really.

    Could see something like this:
    :zaluska:

    :loovens::majstorovic::hooiveld:
    :juarez:---------------------------:ledley:

    :brown::kayal:

    :mccourt:

    :fortune::samaras:

    I'm not really a fan of 3-5-2 but sorts out the full back issue for this game, gives McCourt a free role against a team he should rip the * out of and solves the problem of what midfielders to pick.

    I like that line up. Definitely looks like Juarez and Ledley's versatility could prove invaluable this season. :50:
